What is a recommended supplement to start taking once we hit 40?

Kelp, too… and old Gironda staple. I’ve known about the ZMA combo for years but it never helped me at all

Geezus… I ran 2 kits at $800 each back in 2004. Wasn’t a fan

What’s the best way to get some kelp?

It improved my quality: not quantity

NOW foods or powdered variations I suppose.

You have a gold mine there

Thanks for the tip, never heard of this.

I’m going to research this since I mostly use kosher salt, which is is uniodized, and no one else in the house likes bitter juices like cranberry/grapefruit/tart cherry, except me, so I never buy them.

Kelp has been available since the 1970’s that I know of. Back in the 1970’s there was a much talked about and used formula for fat loss. It was:

  • Lecithin
  • Kelp
  • Cider vinegar
  • Vitamin B6

You could buy the formula or the ingredients separately

Peptides? So were not talking supplements
We’re talking " supplements"… correct?

It’s my understanding that peptides and hgh itself are not carcinogenic, but can accelerate the proliferation of existing cancer cells and tumors.

Redmond Real Salt … look it up

Most immediate thing was no longer getting up 2-3 times in the middle of the night to pee. I used to use that as a way to get in my Metabolic Drive shake in the middle of the night, and now I just drink it right before I really conk out for the evening. Stronger urine stream as well.

Ever try any of the Mushroom formulas for sleep? I really like the Calm blend from Four Signmatic. It’s kinda like hot coco. One envelope in 4oz of hot water/milk before bed. I find it meshes well with ZMA and fills in some of the gaps that ZMA doesn’t support. I use it quite a bit when traveling to help with Time zone changes or being adrenalized from long drives and getting to the hotel late at night and then needing to sleep.

So if thats the case… how can someone test if they have existing cancer cells?

Cause the last thing anyone need is jumping on that sucky cancer wagon

I’d probably ask a doctor but I think blood tests are the norm.

I’ve read about full body scanners looking for tumors and abnormalities too, but I don’t know much about them.

Adaptogens work well for me. Anything that negates stress, regardless of source. They don’t act like sleeping pills and knock you out right away but over time with continued use I notice it’s easier to fall asleep.

Mushrooms fall in to this category, ashwagandha, valerian et cetera. Maybe wouldn’t work for your line of work, but occasionally marijuana works like a magic blanket.

Thank you, I really appreciate this.

Glycine is an amino acid that’s supposed to help you calm down or sleep.

Most versions of ZMA don’t include glycine.

Tart Cherry juice is also rumored to help with sleep. Just 2 oz increases melatonin.

And if you want to get crazy, take the glycine with the juice to increase absorbtion.
