Last workout before the meet Sunday. I am not expecting anything crazy. I have been in the process of opening my own small gym and it has been a little stressful and very time consuming, but I am super pumped about it. Hopefully we will be able to actually open in the next week or two. Needless to say, my prep for the meet took somewhat of a back seat.

Very happy with how today went. 9/9. Weighed 13lbs more than last meet and totaled 58lbs more. Finally broke 500 on my dead with 507lbs.
I think I am figuring out how I peak and am pumped for the next one in November.
My biggest Squat in training this time around was 360, and I finished with a smooth 380 today. Bench was 2lbs more than my best in training, again really smooth. And my deadlift was 12lbs more than my training best. Also felt easier than expected.
Hopefully I’ll have my gym open in the next week or two, so I’ll try and keep up with my own training and posting on here as best as I can.
Thank you guys for the advice you’ve given and being so helpful.

Between the last two days I did…

42 chins and dips, 28 strict toes to bar
some bottoms up kettle bell presses with a 30lb
a few suitcase carries with a dumbbell
power snatched up to 145lbs
some band chest flys and high face pulls

Keeping it simple this week and the next. I may do some box squats today if I can finish the flooring in the gym.
