What Do You Think

How far up do you let your BF% get in the off season and what is the usual time to get into contest shape?

Hey Brutus_G

In the offseason i actually drop weight instead of gaining weight. My contest weight is about 195 to 205. So I diet up. Most people diet down. My BF usually stays around 10 to 11%.

For my first show I dieted for 18 weeks. Why so long your proabaly asking? I break my diet into phases. In the beginning I clean out my diet stop eating the fast foods or junk foods. In the end I don’t get the crazy cravings that come along with dieting. It’s a slow progressive diet.

everyone is different of how long it takes for them to get into contest shape. With my clients that have competed and one’s that I am currently getting into shape now depending on how they look I would say anywhere from 10 to 12 weeks sometimes 14.

Hope this helps you out. Any other questions please feel free to ask,

Kiyoshi

Wow your results are great man! I wish you the best of luck in the upcoming shows!!

Great body I just dont understand why you claim to be natural, some of us know better. Your not. I have had athletes pass drug tests when the IFBB was testing so I know how easy it is to beat those.Your muscles are too full and round to be natural. I’m not tearing you down at all. Hell I dont care if you tell everyone your natural but expect to be called out.

It’s all good. I get called out all the time!! I was even accused of using when I was a world class sprinter and qualified for the olympic trials. Was I tested then of course and you know how stringent the IOC is on testing they catch you if you use a cold medicine.

Did I pass? Yes, without a doubt. Everyone said how could my times go from running a 10.4 100m to a 10.18 100m in less than 6 months. So I have been accused!! It’s all good. If you were to see me in person and not on stage you might think otherwise.

Good luck to you

Kiyoshi, where is the Team Universe comp being held in NY, and do you know how I can get tickets? I would love to go.

I was very interested in your precontest diet… made me realize that I needed to go to the store today actually lol,

What’s your diet plan like when you are in the off-season looking to add weight?

Hi Kyoshi,

You have a great physique and I wish you well for your shows and hope your back heals well.

Just one concern for your natural status, and I’m not pointing this out to be an asshole, but isn’t an ingredient in HOT-ROX Extreme now on the banned list? A7-e I think? Just a concern if the testing at the Team Universe is up to IOC standards.

I’m glad that you brought that up. Didnt know until now, I sent the ingredients in HOT-ROX Extreme over to WADA and received a quick response. They have acouple that are pretty similar but not this. I checked with A7-E and also 17-dihydroxy-delta as well as the other ingredients, as of jan 2007 thats not yet banned through WADA.

Just to let you know at the team universe they don’t test for any kind of boosters, etc… They test for AS. The other organization I compete in tets under IOC standards through WADA

Damn scared me for a sec.

Thank you!!!

Like I said…I’m not singling you out, just like I say to everyone who thinks their natural…whatever makes you feel better about who you are, it’s no ones business how we get there…just aslong as you get there, and steroids isn’t cheating, just to help us exceed what the human body is capable of retaining naturally…

its almost 2008 natural aint natural anymore…haha but you look good, only one lil minor thing I like to point out, Id like to see more hamstring drop when you’re doing side chest, and maybe more front squats to bring up the top of your quads to give it more roundess and over all thickness on your profile, but the back looks good the front looks great, still, more overall quads thickness would make you flow better…

It’s all good.

Thank you for the constructive crticism!!! Some people get mad about it but it helps. Iam always in contact with Ken Taylor (IFBB/NPC Judge) He said the same thing about my legs. I told I just begun to hit my legs this past year before that it has been 2 to 3 years since I really got to hit my legs really hard.

He took a close look at my knees and he knew right away. 8 knee surgeries, one hamstring tear completlyaway from the bone. I played many years of football including Pro ball arena and nfl and they took a toll on my knees alot of acl tears. Sucks. So now Iam just now beginning to hit my legs hard front squats and close footed leg press.

I have been working with Eryk Bui. He said the same thing I need more leg sweep . Iam working on it. Thank you very much. Hope we don’t have any hard feelings.

Thank you

Hey Tmoney1

I got the ok today from the doc. He still said take it easy. But I will come into the jr.cal in pretty good shape.

Thanks for checking up on me!!!

No problem…I’m a perfectionist when it comes to bodybuilding, I’m also an artist myself so I pay attention to a lot of details, to the point where some of my art work took me 3 months to finish…that’s why I think you have a great physique, the striations on your chest is something that I’m trying to bring, but I think that’s genetics and how well you carb load and suck the water out…still working on it…

hey I’m open to critique myself so if you have any contructive critism about me…please, I’m more than happy to hear after all, I need it

U remind of that new pro that won the Shawn Ray Colorado last year as a rookie but I cannot remeber his name.
