What Do I Do With a Body Like This?

So I have been workin out for like 5 to 6 months or so. I didn’t really do things like count calories, or any of that, prolly why i didnt progress a whole ton

My goals are to get big and lean, any suggestions?

I suggest you bulk first.

You have got to be a troll. If not, you have to decide what your goals are. You are asking whether you should bulk or cut, but it doesn’t matter if you have no goals. I would say you really need to add muscle, so get on a proven program, eat a lot of protein and then after that eat some more, and finally be consistant.

Now I know I probably just made some troll giggle with taking the time to respond, but just in case you are serious.

Lift weights, get stronger, eat protein and calories, get bigger.

If that is your progress from 5-6 months of training I have bad news for ya…

Steps to a better you:
1)Set goals using S.M.A.R.T
2) Find a lifting program that best suits your goals
3) Find an eating plan to achieve your goals.
4) Work towards your goals with consistency and intensity until you achieve them!

Aside: Judging by your picture you will not achieve your goals in under 12 months of solid training so prepare for the long hall

  1. Get on a good 5x5 program , FB 3x/week there are a million of them that are well known
  2. Don’t eat garbage, but get in at least 1 lb/1 g protein every day.
  3. Work really hard… because it looks like you’re going to need to

The hell of it is I get a kick out of that ad. It’s the ONLY good thing I think they’ve done. “I pick things up and put them down.” It’s kind of how I approach my workout…pick up heavy thing, move to desired location, repeat.

honestly I would start counting calories to at least know where I am. After a while it becomes second nature. Looking at a peice of meat you would know its protein calories and so forth. I am not saying by a scale and measure like crazy, but know your maintenance at the very least.

I wasn’t saying if he made an actual goal that anybody would be able to tell him how long it would take to acheive that, bc that’s impossible.

I’m suggesting that if this guy wants any specific advice, he needs a specific goal, not “big and lean”.
