Ahoyhoy!

Been having some amazing workouts lately . Honestly , not getting this job was a blessing in disguise because what I thought was stress from uncertaintity was actually stress from trying to wrap my head around doing a very inactive desk job all day , hense why my OCD reacted to such extremes and started making me squat 6 days a week. I had an interview to be a manager at a kickboxing gym and waiting for a response is nothing but excitement and hopefulness , thus creating rational and quality filled workouts .
I have been doing 3 squat days a week , two shoulder days , one back and one rest day. I have light squats with pin squats as accessory, medium squats with front squats and heavy squats with paused squats . A heavy shoulder day and a light pump one and just an everything back day. I make sure my squats stay in a specific weight range ie I stay between 160 and 170 for medium days and the range increases only if on heavy day I am able to add weight . Last heavy day I got back up to 185 x 2 so i was able to bump up all the ranges by 5lbs . Next heavy day I will not even try for 190 because I’m not trying to bump the ranges each week because I want more time to work in them .
This way all of my reps have felt quite solid and focused .
I also got up to 80lbs x 3 for my military press and 27.5lbs x 8 for one arm Land mine press and 32.5lbs x 3 or something. It’s really getting exciting .
I also had this incredible castor troy sex dream if anyone knows who that is LOL. I now believe I am madly in love and also infused with testosterone because castor troy sex is anabolic or something .

Wt is between 132 and 133 which is up, but I’m not concerned because I honestly think I am looking leaner at 133 than I was at like 130ish , plus I’m feeling really strong so the scale can suck it .:blush:

SO a thread I started on here about my hip always feeling like it’s popping out of place gave me an awesome realization :
I HAVE LOOSE JOINTS lose loose moose rhyme loose joints.
I have always been like that, very contortionist esq. As a little girl I literally watched tv with my foot behind my head . I can still put my foot behind my head…
My shoulders and my hips are both things that feel poppish out of place and make me unable to connect with the muscles /make me feel less in control of the execution etc…
When I was young gym teachers kept telling my parents to put me in gymnastics because my flexibility was incredible and I haven’t changed . I could always stretch every stretch to the max without feeling bothered and even my physio guy was like uhh this is okay?? WHY ISNT THIS AFFECTING U ???
So I read this amazing article called something like " are you Gumby?" WEll maybe a little bit I am . REASON WHY it is so hard for me not to squat deep as shit because my joints just open up way too much and too easily and its very hard to control .
So some pointers they gave basically like less ROM is my friend until I develop better control over the joints and work the joint stabilizeers STOP static stretching which I was easily doing 30min a day
foam rolling and physio core work and basic glute activation is better for me than any stretch
So now before I workout I do my ab stuff instead of stretch and that type of thing . Today was my first day experimenting with new squat form that was like this leg wide in between not back only go to parallel as was suggested on here many weeks ago. Honestly, I thought the guilt from not squatting super deep would bother me too much to even try, but when I read that article it flipped a switch in my brain that made me feel like depth = bad for me . Now I am allowed :slight_smile:

I have a nightly storyline going on before I fall asleep, do other people do this?
Basically my storyline is about my book so I become a famous author then I write a screen play based off the book and end up winning an academy award for best adapted screen play . Lots of times it’s just me on Jimmy kimmel and doing book signings and stuff, but now it’s taking an exciting turn because I have developed a love interest in my story about a story about a story

At an Oscar after party I was introduced to Nicolas cage so we started talking and spent the night together ect… OBVS I know he is married, but that is part of the story because it’s an affair you see.
But I still live in Canada and just stay in a hotel when I have to do LA work things so he stays there with me, but he wants me to move there so he gets me an audition for the movie he is in . It’s about a murder. I play the part of a ghost who torments him because he is a detective who can’t figure out who murdered me. But during the filming of this he tells me he wont leave his wife and on set things become very tense and we are not longer sleeping together.
I finish filming and then come back home to Canada to work on my gym clothes line. JennKnew Fit.
It means Jenn KNOWS which is a play on my last name which has NEW in it. I know fitness and I know how fitness clothes should fit and it’s a NEW kind of fit. IE" For squat asses etc. And its kinda based off stuff sexy video game chicks would wear. Like you’re going into battle at the gym not happy girly shit. Hardcore awesome RAH.
Anyway, so I am back home for months, but can’t get over Nicolas and paparizo are filming me look like sweat pant garbage etc but my heart is broken and ā€œthe girlsā€ want to take me out and Nicolas leaves me a voicemail saying he misses me and I just cant get over him and stay awake all night watching shitty 3am tv.
But then he calls again and asks if he can come in ! :open_mouth: HE CAME allt he way to Canada because he loves me and now what’s going to happen is he going to leave his wife or am I going to rent a place in LA and continue this affair .
