What Burns More Calories?

So another debate my partner and I have is the issue of what burns more hiit weighttraining or hiit cardio?

Another topic is…lower ab training…whats better fordevelopment of lower abs…resistance or non resistance? Je’s arguement is that because he’s taller and weighs more then me he doesn’t need to you weight for hanging leg raises

I think we now have the actual answer as to why you bench more than Je - he doesn’t like using weight.

hiit weightlifting probably has an even greater EPOC than hiit cardio.

Resistance is always better if you can use it.

training partner, or life partner?

Ding, we have a winner. That is funny.

The question of whether HIIT or Steady State cardio is superior to the other is still a debated issue. They both have their places. I uses Low intensity steady state cardio when on a fairly large calorie restriction, as HIIT would prove to be too catabolic and could easily lead to overtraining. When I am looking to lose weight and I am around maintenance for calories, I have used HIIT with some success. It is person specific and to a degree a matter of preference. I place more emphasis on diet with low intensity cardio, but that is just me.

Sorry, I misread that. I was busy laughing at jahovasfitness’ comment.

Per period of time HIIT cardio will burn more calories, but there are other long lasting benefits to weight training that make it difficult to answer, it comes down to goals.

That is my conviction that combining crunching and growing and training the high brightness interval will help you gain large muscular lump which reduce calorie and burn high furnace temperature.

I second that.

Weights create a larger musculature which burn more calories at rest. I think that is what Chang said… chang?

Oh man Chang, that’s the 3rd or 4th post of yours I’ve stumbled across, and I sincerely mean no offense, but they are damn funny. I think some of what you’re saying is, shall we say, lost in translation. “Large muscular lump”, ha ha! Good for you though.
