The Booker prize books and finalists are all generally pretty good. Check out Kazuo Ishiguro - he has won the prize before and his books are great (I recommend Remains of the Day and Never Let Me Go)
Iād heard of him but hadnāt read him until I started looking at the Booker winners. Klara and The Sun got longlisted (iirc) a few years back so I read that and then immediately read Never Let me Go. Very unique style, I liked both a lot though. Remains of the Day is definitely on my list but I think Iāll probably read all of his novels.
I LOVED this one! Check out The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by the same author. It was really good too!
Iāve had a few weeks off between jobs (starting my new one on Monday!!), so itās been audiobooks all day, everyday over here!

Night Will Find You by Julia Heaberlin
Finished book 3 of the Beartown series by Frederik Backman - really excellent. And now reading the latest Elvis Cole book by Robert Crais, also a really great series!
The Sandbox- Andrews and Wilson. Left a scathing review on audible for this one. I LOVE their other books but, this one⦠not so much. Weak main character, started out as a pretty good āwho done itā but ended in a convoluted, sci-fi hot mess.
Mercy Falls- William Kent Krueger
The Drowning Spool- Monica Ferris
The Paris Vendetta- Steve Berry
Code of Honer- Marc Cameron/ Tom Clancy
Cold Wind- CJ Box
One of my favorites. Donāt forget Joe Pike when you mention Elvis Cole!
