lol there is Pumping Iron II about one of the early Ms. Olympia contests in the 80s
I liked it but didn’t think any of the competitors really had the charisma or stage presence of Arnold to carry it as far.
I would say the look of the competitors was closer to figure competitors today than to female bodybuilders today with the exception of Bev Francis
On my Kindle I have a documentary named Knights of Iron. It is about a reform high school and their power lifting team. I have not watched it in sometime.
Out there, somewhere, is an excellent bio-documentary of John Brzenk.
As already noted, Generation Iron does a good job.
Ric Drasin’s old YouTube channel, though not documentaries, was well done.
