What Age Do You Recommend to Start Taking Steroids?

@unreal24278 at 189 cm (or 6’2" in old money), and all arms and legs, I can tell you that tall people have problems too. It’ll be hard for me to look really big.

Being vertically challenged really helps with bodybuilding and a lot of strength sports.

How do / did you know he was nude and why do you care? I’ve got a semi nude pic for you buddy.

best_guy_ever

He deleted the post, but the unselected photo was a nude pic (although censored), I was just curious, because it seems irresponsible to post a naked picture of yourself online with you’re face in it for everyone to see if you aren’t trying to make money off your body (like porno or something)

I’ve seen this photo before, it’s a meme, guy has a super rapist/ serial killer vibe, all his guns lol. The guitars, one of which is a guitar from guitar hero making the pic even more ludicrous, the dad bod. I would be terrified if I was a women (or dude) in his bed.

I just use the photo for a meme, here you go getting all CSI on me. I didn’t even realize that was a Wii guitar.

Stop looking at my taint Bro.

Now that I said it, I know you will.

Chris have you ever competed in bodybuilding, powerlifting, strongman, only lifting or the like? I assume you are into one of those sports. What are you’re lifting maxes (just curious because you’re profile pic shows you about to OHP, clean or push press nearly 225lbs. A 225lb OHP is very impressive in my opinion, I can only OHP 135 and BP 225 (these are 1rm) (but 120kg for 12 on the chest press machine, the removal of requiring stability really allows me to increase the weight, although I don’t like lifting heavy because my joints are fuuuuuuccccckkkkkkeeedddddddd. I cant even squat my bench press… Isn’t that sad, my knees get sad (hey that rhymes)… I mean I could but it hurts so I don’t . I’m super short so bench pressing is easy for me as the ROM is like two centimetres lol.

If you can OHP 225 you can probs bench like 450 right? My numbers are probs way off but I’d assume you’re very, very, very veryvery strong with that kind of OHP

The taint isn’t visible? Nor is the genitalia

I hate guns, but I like to shoot them, I’m kind of a hypocrite lol. Revolvers are my favorite, I feel like Clint Eastwood when I shoot them.

Not trying to hijack this dude’s thread, sorry Scerri. I’ll be super-quick. Probably better to post direct questions about my training or whatever over in my should-be-updated-more-often training log.

Ha, nope, never competed in those. I originally got into lifting as a complement to martial arts training.

This is, like, one of the nicest things I’ve seen said about me online. Thanks. The pic is from a clean and strict press a few years ago, just 185 for an ugly single.

I try to avoid talking about my maxes on the site. Personal decision. I get enough shit thrown at me for not looking jacked enough, I need to save myself some headache, stress, and drama by not having my numbers picked apart too.

I was shorter than you in junior high, lol. I started high school at 5’3 I believe.

Anyway, my thoughts on the OP:

You look good for 19. I went through your IG. It’s not anything spectacular, but it’s certainly better than what most teenagers look like.

I wouldn’t give the steroids any more thought until you make some more progress, though. See where the next year takes you. Another year of solid training should give you a much better idea of what your potential is, and how long bodybuilding can hold your interest. One of the worst things that can happen is an 18-19 year old taking steroids, and then by 22 he doesn’t even lift anymore because he got into the real world and priorities changed. I’m not saying this is what you’ll do, but you don’t know. Nobody does at your age. You’re not a genetic freak who spent a year lifting and is ready to step on stage. There are times when I’ve given the thumbs up to guys your age who want to do steroids, I just don’t think you’re one of those elite cases. I think the last time I signed off on a teen using steroids, he said he benched in the mid 400’s. lol.

lol, I just noticed this. In what world does an OHP of 225, even if it’s a strict press, translate to a 450 bench? I’ve put nearly 300 above my head, and I’ve never benched 400. My best strict press that I can remember was 235 or 245 for a double with a log.

Idk OHP seems to carry over to benching, however that might just be because dudes with high OHP have been training longer.
My max OHP is 135
Max BP is like 225.

I’m not very strong

I have chronic pain

That’s no excuse

It does carryover. Which is why OHP, for most, is much higher than 50% of bench. Generally, strict press will fall somewhere between 60 and 80 percent of bench press.

I’m actually thinking how I would look on gear
