there’s lots of plers that compete well into their 60s and beyond. I helped an 80 year old out at a meet a couple years ago squat nearly 3x bodyweight. And you need to learn how to spell.

Okay seriously now, I don’t care at all what you say in my log but for god’s sake do it coherently. You don’t have to be a computer wiz to spell correctly and use reasonable language.
Hey Brother ,No offence.I just know that powerlifting is age appropriate and hormone based.I thought people want the truth, not some candy-ass wimp’s telling them too train and get no result’s.I wont address this again john.

Sorry decided my comments weren’t worth the troll.
So Joe, still planning on a Westside template?
Yep, I’ll be going on vacation to the Smokies first week of November and then switching up afterwards. I’m still a little confused about teh accumulation bloacks but I figure I’ll have it mostly sorted out by then.

Joe, looks like for fine work to me…considering you were bushed I would say excellent…
Thanks OG. I’ve also been working without a spotter so I’m not really pushing it at the top end. They moved the floor t-bat apparatus to an area that gets little traffic and since I alternate bench and t-bars I have to lift up there with only the cardio kids.
Trying to make sense of this since I’m now running this program.
Working sets were 175, 200, 230 followed by two heavy singles?
Then what are the sets of 230, 205 and 175 at the end?
How long were you able to run 5/3/1 initially before having to reset lower? Just curious what I might be facing.
I have bastardized my program.
My working sets were 175, 200, 230 then did two singles followed by pyrimiding back down 230, 200, 175. This is a variant that either Matt Kroc or Rhodes can up with.
My first cycle ran 11 months but 8 is more likely.
