Good to hear Deads and Squats are OK with the injury. Is the nerve pinch behind you now?
Deload coming up so hopefully the immune system beats back the cold.[/quote]
I am still a tiny bit bothered by it but it should be 100% gone in a few weeks.
I’m on the fifth day of 14 day carb depletion for carb backloading and it really hit me today. I was tired, grumpy, and not sure I was going to get everything done. If I wasn’t carb deprived I feel pretty sure I would ahve rep PR’s on the money set but such is life.
Mrs. Up wanted pics of my progress, though I’m not sure it shows any. I’ll get some more up on sat.
14 days may suck short term, but its no biggie, and backloading rocks once you hit your target weight/fat loss goals. I’ve been holding pretty steady around 202-04 in the mornings, and last night I had a whole pile of oreos and milk, toast with jam, and Haagen Daz. Some nights I’ll eat a stack of pancakes dripping in butter and syrup along with my bacon, sausage, and eggs, and feel awesome. I know if I start to get a little sloppy I can just no-carb it for a week and drop any excess fat I want to drop. It also motivates me to get in the gym, cause I know if I don’t its no-carb city.
Dixies Finest challenged me to do this arm day since we are both doing Mountian Dog Arms. I had to substitute Dips for Bench Dips and I had to lower a couple of the numbers because that big bastard is stronger than I am. By the time I got to the middle of the second Giant set I thought I was going to puke. At the end I couldn’t freaking breathe and I sort of laid on the ground for a while.
I’m going to get Ronda to post my sorry ass pics in here.
This is the second week of the carb depletion and I am really feeeling it while lifting. I fought yesterday and I’m a little tired as it is. Still got in and got it done but I should have had at least two more reps on the money set.
