Looking strong GTD. Glad to read you’re back in the saddle. I’m weak off the floor with deads. If I get it to my knees I’m all set.
That’s what was so puzzling to me. I have never missed a DL if I can get it mid-shin or higher. I think I just wimped out.
Those are some fine good mornings there sir.
Thanks Joe. Haven’t done them in a long time.
I can feel them in my erectors this morning. Not as much in my hamstrings as I was expecting. I’m not sure if I should put them on DL day or squat day. Or, if it matters.

Me I’d put them on squat day, but then I have this fear of over loading the lower part of my posterior chain.

95 x 5
140 x 5
190 x 5
200 x 5
210 x 5…PR +1 rep
200 x 4…upper back slipped on bench. Don’t want to chalk my back. Maybe hockey tape on bench will work.

The benching seems to be going really well for you. Nice! You should really get some heat in the shed. Does lifting in gloves mess with you?
Thanks Kimba. It seems to be s-l-o-w-l-y moving in the right direction. The gloves are thin mechanics gloves. They only mess with deads so I take them off.
Heat and light…I agree. I’ve had three electricians lined up but they all bail since the job is small. Working on another option. The cold is actually not bad. But I need the electrical done so I can finish up some other stuff so it is annoying.

Great Benching Git, You get an amazing amount of arch in your back…i’m not that flexible yet.
Do your wrists start to hurt on your heavier sets? I ask because it looks like when you unrack the bar your wrists and elbows are lined up directly under the bar and by the fifth rep they don’t seem to be under the bar anymore…the wrists anyway, elbows seem to stay in line. I only notice because i’m really struggling with it myself.
Hey, thanks for popping in.
I hadn’t noticed a change in wrist angle before. Great, something else to worry about, lol.
No wrist issues but the weight isn’t that heavy.
On the other hand, I find squats beat the crap out of my wrists.

X2 on the squats…that’s why I noticed my wrists on the bench. My last squat day I moved to a low bar position and couldn’t believe how much pressure was on my wrists. Went to bench the next day and the pain in my wrists made it obvious that I don’t keep them under the bar.
