Leg curl…do as many reps with toes pointed and then flex feet to get remaining reps
4 x 12
why point toes?
Pointing your toes takes the stretch out of the calf so it can’t assist as much with knee flexion. Hams are more isolated. Makes a surprisingly big difference. If I can only get 6 reps with toes pointed, and then I switch my foot position, I can usually get another 4-6 reps.
Hi Mainy and Masch!
Log is much less dreary when the hawt chicks stroll in.
Bench deload

Off to do some camping this weekend with the fam and some friends. Weather looks good. Should be fun. And I need a break from work.
Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canucks!
Make sure you eat the back bacon, have some maple syrup and participate in at least one game of hockey today.
And of course Canadian Beer after the hockey game.
And don’t forget to kiss a Mountie and club a baby seal!!
I love racial stereotypes don’t you?
I shall celebrate by taking off my Bowler hat, getting myself a nice cup of tea and a slice of fish and chip pie and having a good old fashioned “knees up”, Gor blimey, 'ow’s ya father!!!

I will celebrate by driving around in a pick up truck with a Confederate flag in the back window through mud pits. Then I’ll take my arsenal of guns and shoot randomly in all directions while I get drunk and sing Dixie inbetween reloading.
Finally I’ll end the night gorging on fried chicken and sweet tea until I pass out in a pile of my cousins.
Been getting some biking in this weekend. Kids are awesome. Lots of steak, bacon and egg protein. And some veggies. Post workout nutrition is usually beer.

Absolutely! It’s full of vitamins and other wholesome goodness. And is tasted great after kayaking.

wore sneakers with a bit of a heel. First time squatting in non-flat shoes in about 2 years. My hip flexors were so tight I couldn’t concentrate on if the heel made a difference, lol. Should have done the sled work first to warmup.
Forward and backward sled stuff for about 20 minutes.
I’m starting to love this thing. Next time I use it, maybe tomorrow, I’m going to load it up and go for lower reps (6-8 per side). Less conditioning and more muscle building.
Pushups
5 x 20…various hand positions
I was buying some clothes for a business trip next week (Puerto Rico…never been) and the mirror showed I’m still a bit soft to my liking. More sled.
Listened to this during training. I love this song and could pull a PR to it. Pace around as the story starts to come together, grab the bar when Billy locks the door and lock it out when he kills the asshole boyfriend with the milk bottle. Good for you Billy, he deserved it.
