I’m not sure but I think they are trying to trick me into bigger tips.

Actually, I haven’t been in such an establishment in probably 10 years. My wife is curious about the “dancing” so I’m thinking a Montreal getaway might be in the cards.

Any training going on in here?

Hiya MiM!

Well, that’s a good question. It’s been an odd week. My back is coming around but I’ve been laying off on the hard stuff until I get an assessment next Tuesday. I did have plans to get into the commercial gym but between work, kids sports and a project I’m working on, the week has been a bit of a training disaster.

Tonight after work looks good though. If it doesn’t happen you can call me a big wuss

merde on the back pain.

smart on seeing the doctor.

visit to Montreal sounds like a perfect summer get away! especially when boobies might be involved.

on the flip side the hubbie and I are planning a quick trip to visit my aunt in Nova Scotia. Her husband is a luthier and I commissioned a guitar from them for my baby bro. She lives right near the Cosway pass. We are juggling with the idea of a pit stop at the Rossignol winery in PEI to stock up on fruit based wine. I just love those in the summer as an apperitif with a light summer BBQ. They aren’t available around here. Damn the french and their purist ways.

would it be much of a surprise if I mentionned I actually worked in one of those places summer of '98 to make enough money to study at Carleton U? the memories are quite bi-polar. Just saying this because some day you might cross paths with someone actually going to school. And if you calculate cost of books, tuition, living: room and board and such. And in my case my parents were no help, well you need more than a minimum salary job and those are hard to come by as an 18yrd old with no work experience. On the other hand 99% of the women there were coke addicts who had been dancing for years.

The one issue with these situations is that the girls get “money drunk” and it is hard to switch to a freakin wal mart minimum salary job after. But those look better on your CV. I manage the switch mainly because to function I had to be drinking “just enough” all night. And with a family rampant with alcohol and substance abuse my foolish little head realized I was floating up the creek without a paddle. I must have had an angel watching over me…

probaby TMI… sorry about that.

Well…that was unexpected
And there is no such thing as TMI in here. If you used that frenchie accent on me my wallet would have been empty in 5 minutes, ha.
I’m glad you were able to get your head on straight and get out.

Do you mean the Canso Causeway? I grew up around that area. NS and PEI are great places to visit in the summer.

Yup the Canso Causeway linking Nova Scotia to Cape Breton. Loved Cape Breton - must go camp there again someday.

I have contributed to a great many young lady’s educational fund in the past.

As a funny aside, when I got out of boot camp and went to my first duty station I discovered that soldiers were not considered of a high enough social status to date strippers. It was quite a surprise at 17 to hear you aren’t good enough to take someone because of your profession.

That’s ironic. My unemployed rich friend has no issues dating les danseuses.

Same here with my main squeeze until he’s like “You’re looking a little bit big, up in here” (waves hands over the delt region). Then I throw up a double bi and say, “you love it” (he doesn’t btw)

HAHAHAH! Joe!! Freaking Hilarious! I’m so going to be the wrong kind of Dr. What I wouldn’t do to dole out scripts! Sigh…

Sorry about the back Git! Might not be a bad thing that you take a bit of time off from the training…but really, stop being such a pussy! Jk. Men have feelings too

Hmm…Frenchie is intriguing…

haha Maschy…you show him. Next time bust out the most muscular pose and yell “Hulk smash!!” I’m sure he will find it charming

And…there was training. So not a total pussy.

Benching and stuff. Had to do stuff with no back arch which felt odd.

Incline…I really need to do these more regularly

  • a bunch of sets working up to 185 x 3 x 3

Flat

  • a bunch of sets working up to 205 x 4 x 4

Bench to pins (lockout height)

  • 235 x 3 x 3

Bicep / tricep mash-up
Lying EZ bar tricep extensions + overhead band extension
then
EZ bar curls + hammer curls

3 rounds. 10-12 reps on each

DB flyes…long time since doing these. Kinda bother my shoulder
3 x 10

Felt good to be moving again.

Back - the spinal deload version

Wide-grip pullups
4 x 10

DB rows (light)
50 x 15
65 x 15

3-4 sets of standing calf raises
2 sets hanging knee raises

for about 4 months summer of '98. then I moved to Ottawa to got to carleton U and never went back.
my experience taught me there is a lot of bad and good.

good = it taught me that men love all types of women and gave me a good boost of self confidence and the money was pretty damn fine.

bad = a lot of the scum of humanity circulate in those circles and a girl has got to know how to watch her back. Substance abuse is rampant and pretty much the only way women can do this trick night after night.

Most people close to me know about this. I’m fairly open about my experience.

I AM feeling a bit wimpy the last few days. Today is a serious struggle after last night’s BBQ and beer debauchery.

Motivational pictures are welcome…don’t even hesitate.

Yes…torso…uh, very long.

Not ribs this time. Ate at a friend’s place, and he does make killer ribs, but this time it was steak and Jamaican jerk chicken kabobs. They were awesome but if I had to choose I would take the ribs.

Why do Brits and Canadians call grilling, BBQing? Its like calling hand holding, a rough screw against a wall.

I think it is because since we call them BBQs it is therefore BBQing. But you are right. Technically it is grilling.

The Beatles knew where it was at.
