box squats looking good. how much rest you doing between sets? and I would call those stiff legs. RDLs are typically taken from the floor.

Thanks. I’m doin about 45 seconds between sets. Hip feels pretty good today.
From the floor? I would find that weird and would just want to DL it. I’ll practice with lower weight.

RDL SLSL… meh
Regardless of what you call it it that was damn fine lifting.[/quote]
Thanks my friend. I’m feeling pretty good lately.
Very stout RDLs. That is a lot of weight.
Great lifting!
Nice work Git. I would wager your T levels are fine just by reading your log. ![]()

Thanks Strick. I appreciate that a lot.

I can just imagine how pissed off my wife would be if my levels are low and I got them fixed ![]()
OK, training question…I want incorporate some deficit DLs to help with my speed off the floor.
What height should I use? I’m thinking 2-board (3") height. Or should I go to 4 1/2"?
I don’t know if you’ve stated it already, but there is definitely a meet in your future.
strong stiff Pulls- big numbers, and good stuff.
squat speed looked good too
stripper pole Dang git.
Immediately orders chucks, bands, and WSFSSBDB
(that’s west side for short stocky broken down bastids)
nice work Git

If I can get to the 400 / 300 / 500 level then I would consider it. Maybe.

Maybe EliteFTS should have a Westside / stripper pole package? “Honey, Date Tate says you need to use the pole once a week. It’s part of this crazy Westside thing. MmmK?”
Thanks kmc for the kind words.

Not a problem IMO

I would recommend just enough so you can still get your feet under the bar, which is about 3" I guess. That’s what I use and it’s tough enough.
Stripper poles, naughty nurses, talk of competition, what an opportune time for me to visit your log.
I’m sure your wife won’t mind the added T. Wait does more T= more frequency (good) or more speed (not good) or both (could be a draw)? Hmm.

Hai!
Jeez, complicated T questions. I think more T could upset the already delicate husband and wife balance. If you know what I mean.
Wait…more speed? That happens? I better talk to my doctor about this.
3 inch defecit good.
from my understanding more T add frequency, and duration… just from what I’ve heard…
Damn Hoss! Those are serious RDLs/SLDL.
+1,000,000 on putting the stripper pole up. Of course that means you’ll always have to carry a supply of ones.

Thanks james.
Unfortunately, ones and twos are coins up here in Canadaland so they just don’t tuck in the same as bills. And they hurt if you throw them too hard. I might have to go to 5 dollar bills.
Totally worth the price.
I think I’m going to get some kettlebells. Mostly for swings for P-chain. I read something by Donnie Thompson saying that kettlebell work really helped drive his numbers and keep him healthy.
I’m liking this option:
