  • mini bands…doubled or quaded. Not sure of the terminology. Doubled seems to make sense but I’ve seen it both ways. +70lbs at the top (based on lifting a 65lb Db off the floor) and about 35-40 on the box.

Bar + bands x 3 x 2
95 + b’s x 2
135 + b’s x 2
185 + b’s x 2
205 + B’s x 10 x 2…1 minute rest, rack to unrack. I wouldn’t go any heavier and still call it “speed” work. If my max is 405 then 245 is 60% of max on the box and 275 is 68% at the top.
My 8th set felt the fastest.

Heavier box squats
225 + b’s x 1
245 + b’s x 1
265 + b’s x 1
My wrists had had enough at this point. I need some decent wraps. I’m using old knee wraps.

Speed deads
225 x 9 x 1…30 second rest periods. Trying to be as tight with form as possible.

KB swings
50lb x 2 x 20
