Damn fine drive on the Zerchers. The cabin is looking real nice too, almost too nice. Just don’t finish the drywall or paint and it’ll remain awesome.
I kid of course.

Funny you should say that. I can’t decide how pretty to make it. It was supposed to be a storage shed with weights in it. But I’m leaning toward doing it up nice.
I got a heat pump for cheap so it’s going to have heat and air-conditioning. My house doesn’t have air-conditioning.

But we can’t have the plates sweating so good move! lol
Pretty soon you’ll have the nicest gym in town.

That’s right! I can’t have rusty plates.
Actually, that was part of the thought process. I’ll have tools out there too…if there is any room once I am done.

It is a fun little project. But I wish I could find more cool used stuff locally.

And heat and air-conditioning for her comfort. You sir, have a keen mind.
True. There is a fine line between cool and fancy when it comes to home gyms. For a bit I wanted to put down fake hardwood floors in my gym but then it would be like a fitness center, ghey. Cold, pourly lit concrete it is. I’ll use the flooring money on something heavy later.

And a shrine dedicated to me…right? RIGHT?!
Nice Zerching, Git! Looked killer!
Honestly, sometimes you boys lift so much weight I just don’t know what to say? How about a smack on the ass instead. Actions do speak louder than words ![]()

A shrine? Tell you what. If you send me a high-res pic I’ll enlarge it and put it up in the gym as one of the motivational posters. Right beside the Mercedes Benz SLR that my son likes and the whiteboard that tracks my PRs.
Ass smacks are always better than words.

Nice work Git, with the CGBP do you still use the same set up as if you were doing a regular bench? I actually dont arch my back at all for the purpose of hitting the tris more…what say you?
I also started doing incline CGBP these are awesome especially at lighter weight.
I do this too, actually. I save my bench set up for my benching, and (usually) try and make my assistance stuff as disadvantageous as possible.
Damn good work.

Matty, that’s a good point. I’m still struggling with flat bench form so I try to use the same setup for every variation to see if I can make setup automatic. I have floor press in the rotation so i suppose that would be my flat back variation for now. But since your bench is 100lbs more than mine maybe I should take your advice, lol.
I’ve done incline CGBP and liked them a lot. Why am I not doing them more? Thanks for the reminder.

OK, OK…I’ll try this flat back approach. But if my bench form goes to shit you guys are fucked.
