Way to fight that 385 up. You’re making it hard for me to catch you on squats, bastard.
How do the wraps feel over pants? As the temp drops I’m going to want to wear sweats to the gym and I thought the wraps might not hold tight over them.
Thanks Joe. I’ve got my eye on 405 by the end of the year.
The pants are pretty thin track pants. Actually, the wraps feel better over the pants than on bare skin. They don’t hurt nearly as much and I can crank them down if I need to. I don’t know about sweats. They might be a bit bulky.
starting squat stance, can you get a bit more upright at the start? I know it’s hard when walking out, but it looks like you are bending at the hips before you start the squat.
Are those titan wraps? how do you like them? I’m in the market for a new pair, I have Black Reapers now.
My son had a soccer practice at a local high school. I saw this on one of the classroom doors. It brought some perspective to this parenting thing that I am up to my neck in.

Lil, I’ll give that a set up a try. I’m low bar so there is a equilibrium point and I’m not sure I can get more upright but I do need to tighten up my initial set up.
Yes, they are the Titan Titaniums. I don’t have anything to compare them to but I am very happy with them. From what I have seen online, they are not at the extreme end of the stiffness scale but I get some decent pop out of them. PLus my knees feel better whe I use them.
If you’re still interested in doing a meet, ours will be late spring. Sometime in april or may, probably. We don’t require a membership card or anything like the CPU, either. I can keep you updated, if you’re still interested. Just wanted to mention it. Good luck!

Hey, keep me in the loop. Can’t promise I’ll enter (depends on how training is going) but I would at least show up and cheer folks on.
Bought a trap bar today. Now I need to figure out where to fit it in. I can see loading it up for ME work as well as assistance stuff. And not smashing my man bits with shrugs.

Great grinder on the squats. And amusing workout attire. Those wraps don’t look very tight at all. Never seen anyone wrap over sweats or pants.
Hey!
The wraps are decently tight but not really cranked down. I can see the benefit of a handler at a meet.
I notice MMeat wraps over track pants. But maybe there is some tightness advantage to wrapping over bare skin when the going gets tough? I don’t know.
ddot…c’mon man, do I have to spell it out for you? I’m trying to be subtle here
Thanks Up. I had chicken, ribs, scalloped potatoes, veggies, carrot cake and some red wine to wash it down. I kinda forget it was my birthday until my wife said “Happy Birthday!” this morning. Nice little party with some extended family.
