Westside for Skinny Bastards Help

hey…today i start the new cycle…i am doing ME incline and i was wondering could i do my sup lift as the incline DB press?? im sure hitting that wouldnt be too much would it?? i guess i will find out today…thoughts?

DeFranco actually has that as a supplemental lift.

cheers mate…so hitting the incline bb bench for the ME and then the sup as incline db would be ok…i did it today and my chest feels great and is pumped :wink:

my ME lift looked like this…

1 bar x 10
2 95 x 6
3 115 x 5
4 135
5 155
6 160
7 170
8 175 x 1 wasnt meant to be 1, was going for 3 but i didnt feel confident i could get it up* w/o a spot…

then i did 4 sets of 8 - 10 with 55’s for incline db…

Since it was my first one i went up little by little, but i aim to hit 220 a bit earlier next week. was hoping to get to 225 today, but just didnt make it…but that is still the best i have squatted before. i couldnt find a box at the gym, so i just used a bench end that was at parallel. my old PR was about 210…im kinda ok with today but aim to hit the 100kg (225) mark in 2 weeks.

hey, havent been able to post or hit the gym due to HUGE amts of work, but am back in the gym again and the little break helped i reckon (altho those 3 days i did work this week was hauling heavy shit across the road moving a friends office so i was kinda doing some heavy lifting anyway hehe!!!)

mates at footy reckon ive really changed the body since i started playing in april, which kinda coincided with me starting my strength training programs…ive noticed som good changes in body look as well as being able to run out games and trainings…we have a game tomorrow, i am PUMPED BABY!!! look out boston!!!

Glad to see that you are still progressing well. I haven’t posted in awhile due to a family issue, I missed two entire weeks of lifting. That sucked.

Hey TH…cheers, the last 2 weeks i have been working my ass off moving office crap (desks, filing cabinets etc) up and down stairs, and have felt like ive got a workout from that…so i havent got to the gym as often as i would have liked but havent noticed any decreases tho which is pleasing to see…just keep going mate and youll be right.

i plan on doing one more workout of these and then switching it up again…but i still wanna keep some sort of heavy squat going.

guys, ive got that itch…the 21 day itch…cheers for all your help on this topic of WSSB…

little story…we had a game in florida over the weekend and i managed to go alright (altho i didnt have my kicking boot on, 1.4 and 1 out on the full…tsk tsk…could have had 6)…but the funniest moment was when some fat guy tried to hold my jumper and i just turned and pushed him over…he was like twice the size of me…later he elbowed me in the face…so i called him fat all fkn day…hilarious…we had a huge win tho and won the eastern conference…so this program has really helped me with my strength…so now i am going to mix it up a bit and try something different…cheers again
