Westside Bodybuilding Experiences?

yea I have used it for bodybuilding and had overwhelming success with it. I went from 145 to 170 in 8 weeks while doing “westside” for bodybuilding purposes. I wanted to get my strength of first because I understood that lifting big weights and eating(a lot) will add muscle. I used ME and RE for both upperbody and lower body.

its successful because you are using heavy lifting and repetition lifting along with constantly changing your exercises to new ones that suit you the best. its nothing fancy, really.

I’d say the best way to adapt a trad westside template to bodybuilding is by eating more!!

Has anyone here used a Westside template for mass/hypertrophy/bodybuilding?

I know we have a long westide thread on Strength Sports, but it seems to be focused around ME and DE powerlifting workouts.

Uh, that’s because Westside is DESIGNED for powerlifters. How could you not know this?

You can’t just change a bunch of shit and call it Westside.

CaliforniaLaw, Louie Simmons thinks you can.

Please refrain from acting like a fool.

Yeah, whatever. CaliLaw is correct. Unless you are Louie Simmons or at the very least know what westside means, then you don’t even have any business “modifying Westside.” Joel Marion started a bad thing here, and it should be put to rest.[/quote]
