Welcome to the (Bodybuilding) Training Forum?

I agree that we need a dedicated bodybuilding forum.

You don’t get why a forum named merely “Training” would not necessarily be mostly populated by those training for bb’ing?

Why wouldn’t it just as suitably be full of Bosu ball, Ab Master, and even Thigh Master crap?

Interesting. I just assumed ‘Training’
now named “bodybuilding training”
as the ‘Bodybuilding’ forum and ‘Conditioning’ as the often requested ‘fitness’ (“I wanna see my abz”) forum.

The breakouts make sense to me, but I certainly see the points made about the unfortunate choice of names.
that’s the way i read it. i’m not sure what the big deal is.

The site is not abandoning bodybuilding. Tim and TC’s goal is to have greater discussion on bodybuilding. The forum changes yesterday are just the first step in this direction.
I hear you. It is just that the bodybuilding aspect of people’s goals seems to get more crap on this site than anything else for some strange reason. No other forum gets hit with so much ridiculous traffic from what I can tell.

I am FOR any positive changes in that regard and appreciate the change made already.

That is because you are posting after the fact. It was changed because we mentioned it.

Too bad this site becomes less and less involved with actual bodybuilding every month.

Actually, the changes we already in progress. It’s just that some people saw the first part of the change and got a little over excited.

As for the new Conditioning forum, all you need to do is check out the posts already in it, that we’re previously in the Strength Sports forum, to see its intent.

Viewing the forums at Forums - T Nation - The World's Trusted Community for Elite Fitness may help put the new ones in context.

I don’t agree, but the changes should help none the less.

I like it. Will you and the other mods emphasize the regulation of content in each sub-forum to ensure its appropriateness and relevance?

Oh my god.

are people here such whiney bitches that all we have to complain about now are semantics? You wanted a T-Cell Alpha. You got it. And this forum changes it’s name and OMFG WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO? WHERE DO WE POST?

News flash: this forum is pretty much the same as before. You want to talk about the Olympia? make a thread here. Worried about the 160lb abz crowd? Ignore them. Why is this so hard? Still not satisfied? Find a new forum.

But please, stop fucking whining. You are contributing to the degeneration of this place into bodybuilding.com (OMG, that website has BODYBUILDING in it’s name!!! LETS GO POST THERE BECAUSE IT MUST BE SOOO HARDCORE!)

This post was nothing BUT whining.
Pot calling the kettle black.

How about we stop making stupid threads about one small name change? Or would you prefer to migrate to Estrogen Nation?

Seconded. This is needed. Even if above the actual threads (instead of sticky that never gets read) you put:

“Welcome to the (insert name of forum). This forum is used to discuss … For information on other topics please see the MAIN FORUM PAGE. Thankyou Mods.”

Then people as soon as they go on see what its about without having to open a sticky to see wat the forum is all about.

PROBLEM SOLVERED!

Where do we discuss pro bodybuilding now?

THE OLYMPIA IS COMING SOON!

OK, what I think about new stuff here is much more optimistic right now!!

Everything is much, much cleaner and I found good reads, out of deep trollitis (knock on wood)…

Good job mods!
