We all know that risks to your health increase with no exercise life styles …Why do they say might?

Hard to prove cause and effect. But I also yawn when someone discovers what everyone already knew.

Agreed. That said, who needs cause and effect to be proven when you understand the mechanism of action of why this would be true.

Lifting doesn’t always mean clean diet.

Plenty of people lift everyday and eat terribly.

That’s where the “might” comes from.

Lifting might lower risk for health problems if your daily diet isn’t pancakes. Fried chicken and little debbies .

I need to get some fried chicken in a splurge meal though. Hmm. Or maybe a chicken fried steak. best of both worlds.

This is true, but lifting while eating junk food is still better than junk food with no exercise.

It still lowers it, because that sugar has somewhere to go other than fat cells.

Also, I doubt that lack of weight lifting somehow leads to a clean diet so your real choice is:

Shitty diet and lifting or just shitty diet.

In that case, yes, it might lower the risk of diabeetus plenty.

That is pretty much what I would feed people in jail if I were in charge of one.

I would want them fat, happy and drowsy, in as cheap a way as possible.

Exactly.

Would anybody actually workout BECAUSE it might lower the chances of Diabetes? Its a cool added bonus but I dont think I would just exercise on that reason alone.
