Weighted Chin PR's

BW=200 + 75DB for 2 sets of 3, at the end of a 10x3 work up. I’ll typically do 5x5 with one plate (45lbs.)

Bodyweight:228 with 45 plate for three.

Bwt = 145 lb. + 70 lb for 2 reps. Age 59 yrs.

180 bw + 70 pound db for 3 reps = 250.

I do chins three times a week on average. Sometimes I throw in bent over rows with strict, arched back form and high reps as well.

In a strongman contest I participated in, I did 110 for a 1RM with a pause at the bottom. I went for 120 but just barely missed it. I did this with a neutral grip at 220 pound bodyweight.

In training I have done 135 with a supinated grip at 220 pound bodyweight but I didn’t pause at the bottom.
