“Train with the will to die.”
- Enson Inoue, aka Yamato Damashi
(a mixed martial arts fighter)
“Train with the will to die.”
Every time you stay out late…
Every time you sleep in…
Every time you miss a workout…
You make it that much easier
for me to beat you.

One word:
Awesome…
That’s such a cool quote…Thank-you!
Put simply…
“Train Hard, Fight Easy”
“Is today the day you move more iron than ever before? Or is it the day you lay claim to having the largest clitoris in the world? Your choice.”
“I have two options: Today I will succeed by a little or I will succeed by a lot.”
“God invented Nautilus to keep geeks off barbells”- T-shirt worn by the owner of an obscure gym in Witchita Falls Texas.

This one is awesome and it is going on my mirror in my bathroom. That way when I am dragging in the morning it will remind me to suck it up and hit the gym.
“Nice tackle, i didnt know a pu$$y could hit that hard.”
“Do or do not, there is no try.” I like that one.
In response to I do not beileve it, “That is why you fail”
You will find only what you bring in.
I heard Bill Curry say this one:
There are two types of pain, the pain of discipline or the pain of regret.
One we always used for rugby:
“Crush the weak, hurdle the dead”
I think Ahnold said it best…
“It’s as satisfying to me as, uh, cumming is… you know, as, uh, having sex with a woman and cumming. See, can you believe how much I am in heaven? I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I am getting the feeling of cumming at home; I am getting the feeling of cumming backstage when I pump up… when I pose up in front of five thousand people, I get the same feeling. So, I am cumming day and night!” -Arnold, Pumping Iron.
Okay, Okay, so that’s a really extreme and ODD quote… but I thought that was so hilarious when I heard it for the first time. Sorry if it was childish ;).
Kyle
Sorry if this one was already posted but I didn’t read through all of them…
“Think BIG”
Kinda the motto for my life.

This just added 200lbs to my total.
For every 100 men in battle:
10 don’t belong here,
80 are corpses,
9 are soldiers they will not go easily,
and 1,
he is a true warrior, he will not quit, he will fight on courageously, it is he the battle makes.
Author unkown.
Actually that last one is by Hericletus circa bc 500
and I believe the last portion goes
“Ah but the One, one of them is a warrior and he will bring the other’s back”
I have two:
“I am the extreme case of fire and anger the misguided angel with ice in his veins”
I repeat that one everytime before a big lift.
“Through the fire of my will, I forge the steel of my discipline for there is no pain where there is strength”
That’s my personal favorite I say b4 I leave the house for the gym… It’s modified from the Sith saying in star wars, “There is no pain where strength lies”.
I got this off another board.
“The hard things we do right away, the impossible things takes a little longer!”
BigdogEMT
Watched Dodgeball last night and this quote was real appropriate Lance Armstrong is talking to Vince Vaughn(sp) and Lance says “I wanted to quit once too, when I was diagnosed with brain, testicular, and lung cancer at the same time, but I not to and instead I came back and one the Tour De France 5 times in a row. So what fatal illness are you dying from that makes you want to quit?”
Great line!!!

just can’t help it anymore… Come on morons… learn to spell and what words go where… won is spelt ‘Won’ and not ‘One’ and use complete sentences. ‘but I not to and’; I would assume you meant a word like ‘chose’ to be in there some where.
No wonder the general public considers gym rats to be ‘less than smart’ don’t talk unless you can be understood…
Buddy,I am not picking you out exclusively, you are merely an example of something that seems to be out-of-control.
Act like a stereo-type(eg, stupid gym rat)and don’t be surprised when you are called on it…
KIA KAHA… it’s a maori saying, it means STAND TALL,STAND PROUD…

Perhaps you should learn proper spelling and punctuation yourself, moron. Do not insult other people when your grammar reflects that of a 7 year old.
Moron.
