Ride a bike !!

Parents won’t let me. They’re over protective.

Too far of a bike ride too

Do you live in the middle of nowhere ?

I feel like there is more effort given to excuses here than to getting it done.

For that reason I am out. Good luck

Good to see you growing. If you’re working a job, you’re setting yourself up for the future big time.

Be patient and do what you can do from home. You got the rest of of your life to train.

Pity party thread of the year??

Go and actually try the routine I posted -you only need 50lbs dumbells. You have the luxury of 100lbers. …that guy is former special forces and maintains 220 @8% bodyfat year round despite major injuries -lets say he knows his stuff

What’s wrong with 8-12-8

Positive steps man.

Welp no gym during the summer because of no transportation. At least I tried .

No uber where you live? Or busses?

I took a bus 1 hour each way back in college to train Muay Thai.

Also got propositioned to be a male prostitute while I was waiting for the bus. So there’s job opportunities too.

That’s why no one will remember your name.

No busses. Uber is a good idea but I won’t bother knowing my parents.

You said you have money. Buy a barbell, a power rack and weights. There is zero evidence of any drive to be extraordinary here.

I genuinely don’t understand how they factor in.

I have money for a gym not to buy equipment

How is the money only good for one and not the other?

Shit I forgot you pay for home gym equipment in livestock, and for gym memberships with bro-tokens, or “brokens”.

There’s no point buying equipment. By September i should have my license But i’ll have the school weight room then it’s off to college.

The point would be to train from jul to aug.

And then you sell it.

Didn’t you say you have a passion for lifting?

Okay, so our main point here was you obviously don’t have a passion for anything except memes and awkward conversations, because, if you had a gym membership for a year at $20/month, that would be $240 a year, and you can buy:

This $40, 500-lb capacity Olympic bar,
and

4 of these $50 Olympic plates for the same price as a year membership, and get strong as shit doing power clean/jerks, lunges, floor presses, OHP, squats, front squats, etc.

And that’s NEW. Search on eBay or craigslist for a bit and you could get stuff for HALF that.
