Weight Gainer

At 160 lbs I need to be taking in over 3750 calories each day to gain weight, and while I know it would be best to be able to get them all from food, I really just can’t fit that much eating into one day with my schedule right now.

I did a search for the term “weight gainer” here on T-Nation and, to no surprise, it was basically just people shitting on the idea of taking a weight gainer supplement, but surely someone must have had a good experience with them in the past? Any insight would be appreciated.

Metabolic Drive Complete + Any high calorie additive such as milk, fruit, ice cream, whipped cream, = Weight gainer!

Weight gainers are essentially protein mixed with carbs/sugars to give you more calories.

it’s just as easy to throw like he said a higher quality protein supplement MRP in a blender with milk, yogurt, natural PB, Ice cream, oils, or whatever else. The best part is you’re getting the health benefits of these products and aren’t getting a huge insulin spike.
