I was hearing that smoking weed can increase your motabilism and help u loose weight. If i was to smoke and not indulge in the munchies, could that help me lose weight and help one get leaner and cut.

Yeah, right, weed to get cut? Why not save a little cash and invest in some T-2 Pro instead of fucking yourself up with weed? Smoking weed and looking good just don’t mix in my opinion. I have always associated weed with the druggies and fuck ups at my school, not the guys who can actually turn the heads of some people. (in a good way silly…)
I don’t know about speeding up your metabolism (since it’s a depressant, I’d think it’d slow it down if anything), but it will stimulate your appetite…you will get the munchies and you will give in to them - pot destroys your motivation (that means you’re a lot less likely to hit the gym regularly, too.) I’m not some hysterical anti-drug type - if pot was legal, I’d probably indulge myself…occasionally. Very occasionally. Like once every few months. (About as often as I drink.)
Besides, isn’t there a direct link between pot use and gyno?

I hear getting addicted to heroin or methamphetamine is an even better “motabilism” booster. The pounds will float right off! If you want to be a pothead, be a freakin pothead. If you want to lose weight or cut up some, do it with a proper diet and exercise as outlined in T-Mag and stop trying to justify a drug use.
Guys, chill. I smoke weed every so often, and I was at 8% bf this summer, until I decided to go on Massive Eating for a while. Now I’m at 11.6%. I take an MD6 before I smoke, and only smoke on off-days, or after I lift. Definitely don’t smoke every day though. That would be a huge mistake. Munchies are easy to curb if you don’t get wasted. Just take about 3-5 tokes. And stay away from alcohol!
FYI, I get chicks AND good grades AND I never miss a workout. Although I know some burnout lifters that don’t accomplish shit at the gym… when they go. Ok. I’m done.
I have never heard of the metabolic enhancing effects of weed, but I do smoke it, and have gotten to the point where I CAN (yes I can) resist the munchies…I drink tons of water instead and diet Pepsi. Also, I think it is a little presumptious to think that those who smoke weed become lazy and unmotivated; ambition is a state of mind, and won’t necessarily disappear if you smoke weed. You just have to be smart enough and disciplined enough to smoke recreationally, not every day. It is difficult to resist the ‘munchies’ but it is possible.
well i smoke on occasion, i like lifting occasional while stoned and my workout log generally always shows a marked jump in reps gained for that session (though i admit i wouldnt want to be ripped every time i work out). i also think pot does destroy motivation when abused but then what drug doesnt?
