I was putting up 315 when I was 170 lbs. Granted I was in single digit bodyfat coming down from 215. That being said, I also don’t believe this kid is putting that up, but it’s certainly not impossible and I’ve seen lighter powerlifters put up more. My theory is that for the past 3 years or however long he has been lifting, the only lift he’s done consistently is bench. I would also bet he struggles for 225 x 1 and decided to throw approximately 25’s on each side to inflate his number so he could “hang with the big boys”.

I know this topic comes up fairly frequently, however, if you do a search on the topic, the information is dispersed over a number of threads, and most of the threads (like this one) have very little information, and lots of ragging on the OPs/complaining about another pot thread.

I wouldn’t mind having another Weed thread that actually stays on topic, and has information, instead of having to mine to the last ten weed threads for the one in fifty posts actually about the topic.

It’s not that doing 270 at 168 is unbelievable. It is your leg press total your CURL total and your general reek of Asbergers Syndrome that contradicts your bench total.

and the pullups.
yeah I grab a Barbell the small kind with 65 pounds on it and I can Pull myself up
3 times.
( Bar 15, and 2x 25s on each side. = 65lbs.

I dont really have to prove myself to nobody , but you guys are just annoying me a bit

All I’m saying is people who can do that kind of bench at your weight are also squatting and deadlifting over 400 pounds(conservatively). The people who brag about bench and curling in the same sentence generally half bench with a deadlifting spotter.

Given the way you type, you sound like a weekend warrior and not someone who can legitimately bench 1.6 times their body weight.

This is what other people have hinted at and I don’t think you’ll gain many believers without a video.

I believe you can leg press 720 pounds. But given the “fact” that you can bench press 270 you should be able to leg press that over 30 times.
