Watching Smallville?

um yeah, total wow on the ending

Ugh… this season was going so well. That was the WORST smallville episode of all time! No reason for a throw away like that in the final season. Might as well just had an old school meteor freak of the week episode. Elvis??? Sharp shooting Cloe??? What The Fuck?

I wish I stuck with this show, I remember watching it and thinking it was very good. I need to rent some past seasons and catch up.

Does anybody have any inside scoop on Alison Mack? I know the official deal is that she left the show but agreed to apear in a few episodes this season to tie up her character. Which she did. Maybe she’ll return for a show or two at the end of the season. I just don’t get it though. She stuck around when Lana and Lex left the show. She toughed it out for 9 seasons! Why would you leave when you know season 10 is the last? Was it money? Did she think she could do 9 seasons but avoid being type cast by skipping the 10th? I’d love to know the real deal with this one.
Her character does not exist in “Superman’s world” once he grows up. She was either going to leave the show or get written off somewhere down the line. When “Chloe” was created, I seriously doubt they expected her to have her own fan base a few years later.
Didn’t they end up introduced her into the comics recently?
Yeah, but to my knowledge, in the same way they treat Pete’s character. She may show up later briefly, but she doesn’t work at the Daily Planet or anything.
Agreed. Still, I would of thought she would stay a regular and then have to die or get the ol’ amnesia trick at the end of the season to tie up her character. Maybe your right… maybe it was a good change for the last season to get rid of her rather than a contract dispute or something.

She also can’t run “watchtower” because doesn’t Bat Girl take control of that in the future when she becomes “Oracle” after being paralyzed?
yes…exactly. I am just now trying to catch up on season 10. I was finding it hard to finding episodes consistently on Hulu, and I have gotten in to the The Tudors, Lights Out, Justified, and Dexter(I know, late to the game, just started season 2), so I have not been able to get into Smallville season 10 lately.

But that changes starting now. gonna start from episode one if I can find it, even if I have to pay for it on Itunes and watch the whole season.

I am PISSED that they did not use Welling in the new movie…I already started a thread about that, but I know it would have been difficult( to use Welling) in the new movie without basically making it a big-screen version/continuation of Smallville.

:((((

So… anybody watch the finale? possoble spoilers for those who have not seen it. No one has said a peep about it.

I loved it. It had flaws but i loved it. The recap scenes were great. The scenes with Jonathan Kent were great. I liked Lex and Clark’s conversation. The biggest problem with it was clearly a budgetary problem. Not having the resources to have Clark fight a digital darkseid instead of the possessed Lionel. Not having the cash to show Superman handling the Apocolyps, etc. Even the flight scenes were not as impressive as when Jor-el took over Clark’s body and flew a few seasons ago. They were still great but not as visually impressive. These are all small complaints. I think they did a great job with what they had. Its a tv show with average ratings. Not a blockbuster film.

I’m so happy the show lasted long enough to get to see Clark become Superman. I also loved how apocolyps was a planet. You see Oliver down there on the street with everyone else… completely helpless. What is his bow and arrow going to do to that? This was clearly the biggest threat the show ever had as it should of been. This was a job for the most powerful super hero of all time… Superman. Bravo WB!!!
