Wassap With This Carb Thing?

Boy…people are certainly getting sensitive about carbs lately! Maybe I’m reading what people are saying wrong, but I don’t think ANYBODY has said that carbs are “bad” or “evil” on this Forum. However, like any other macronutrient we injest, they need to be CONTROLLED (that’s fats and protein included) depending on our goals. This has all gotten so weird that there are people actually getting angry and “DEFENDING” a macronutrient! I think a few of us probably need to UP our carbs a little! Your thoughts? Geeezzz…

No food is “good” or “bad”. Some foods are conducive to fitness goals, and other foods are counterproductive when overeaten. Yeah, eating twinkies and ice cream all day isn’t the best idea for anyone, let alone bodybuilders, but you aren’t going to build muscle on a keto diet either. You gotta eat for your goals, and your health. I don’t fear carbs, I just eat the right kinds at the right times and in the right amounts for whatever goals I’m shooting for. No biggie. Whenever someone says “You must hate food, look at what you eat!” I always shoot back “I LOVE food-my lifestyle lets me eat meat and cheese, milk, fat and other healthy stuff ALL DAY!” And I rarely get hungry. Ooops, time for a midmorning feeding…

Thanks, Demo! Sometimes you begin to read something on the Forum long enough and you begin to say “Am I missing something?” OR you realize that there is a thread going in the wrong direction…so I’ll do a post like this one to see what everyone’s thoughts are. Thanks for the input!
