I guess I’m just jaded a little bit. I see guys using these weights who are DYEL and the big guys seem to be using waaaaay more weight (in my gym). Just kind of a weird spot.

I think most people are jaded on dyel too though. Like for some reason now everyone thinks you need to be 230 and 8 percent bf to look good because of all the bodybuilders and fitness gurus on youtube.
It’s definitely the easiest it’s ever been to play the comparison game and to find someone who can hurt your feelings.
This forum and my class discord are my only forms of social media and I still feel DYEL on a regular basis.
Luckily I’ve been in a good spell with my squat so it’s been less but its a very very fine balance
