Yes and no. Definitely not my favorite workout but it’s also the least desirable muscle group I want to grow. Don’t get me wrong, I never want to be that guy and I do want good legs, but I’d rather have a better upper body currently lol

Also leg day is always at home, so trying to get it this week to be on the days I can’t go to the gym. So tomorrow is leg day and Sunday I’ll take off. Maybe some cardio.

After further pondering, I hate leg day. If I’m being honest my legs grow prettt decently when worked hard in a surplus, I’ve been kidding myself saying when I start the next blast then I’ll give them the respect they need lol

Woke up before everybody and had 10oz ground turkey and a halfacado. Then girlfriend wakes up and makes homemade biscuits and gravy :drooling_face: had a lapse and ate one. So amazing. But body image is in the trash today. Feel so damn fat and small at the same time :roll_eyes:

Went on a 1.5-2mile walk with her and the kiddos and now it’s leg day

We had family friends who would send ribs and do a grill night every week. I swear I gained 2lbs after each one

This is a thing.
I worked out at home and at the hs gym while I was young. I only joined a real gym when I was around 23-24. That’s when I started making some real gains.
My wife (at the time) had a hard time with me going and tried to stop me many times. I thought she just wanted to spend time together.

But…

The bigger I got, the more she would ‘go out with her friends’. She ended up with multiple hookups and yes, it did destroy the marriage.

I am convinced that she did this unconsciously, in that she didn’t want me to leave her, so she basically left me first.

So, it’s a thing

Yea I accidentally married a whore. Hope to never make that mistake again lol I don’t think the current gf would ever do that, but everyone is capable of horrible things whether they believe it or not.

She’s always been a little thickster, now it’s a good thing but growing up it wasn’t. The guys who made fun of her were all fit jock types, the guys who talked to her were all overweight weirdos. She’s made some comments and observations that makes me certain there is still a part of her that likes them muscly guys.

Went on a fairly slow 40 minute walk with the GF and kiddos today. Walking track in a ritzy part of town next to a small river/big creek. They played in the water for about an hour and had a blast.

Lied about taking today off. Gonna take Tuesday off as GF doesn’t have class and I’m going to get a haircut Tuesday after work.

Breakfast and lunch for the next few days:

99% ground turkey 10oz cooked weight with some low calorie Buffalo sauce, steamed veggies.
Snacks will be halfacado here and there, cheese sticks, keto nut mix (amazing) and dats it.

I brought the same thing to work today! Ground turkey breast with chili powder, chopped onions and garlic salt tossed in with coleslaw base (all the cabbage but none of the dressing), salsa and avocados. Taco Salad-esque.

Sounds good dude! I’ve got to get better at adding some healthy fats. I was eating a whole avacado a day but realized shortly after that was 300 calories. I’ll definitely include them when I’m back to gaining, which I’m counting down the days till lol. Now I just randomly wander the isles at Publix and imagine what all I’d eat if I weren’t dieting :joy:
