Seconded. You have to keep pushing - a successful cut is one that ends with you showing what muscle you have. If you stop now, it’ll just be a waste of time. I remember @Frank_C leaning down and halfway along being like “This is how I look, it sucks, I think I shouldn’t have tried to cut,” and 5 of us were like “dude, this is all in your head, you look better, keep going”, and then he shredded the fuck up.
