Oh I’m a funnel guy. I mean, I’m regretting buying that really big one now, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it.
You’re supposed to turn it the other way!
If you are on TRT then the biggest issues of blasting a bit longer are mitigated. I think staying on will help out a ton through the cut. You might get more of a recomp rather than pure cut especially as you had that 4 week stretch of trash.
Sat in the gym parking lot for 45 minutes, finally went in and got called out for trouble 15 minutes after arriving ![]()
Got seated DB OHP and reverse pec deck done. Guess that’s just 2 less I’ll have to do when I come back after I fix what ever is broken at work.
@dagill2 you told me to go find those PR’s. I decided nothing serious was gonna be had so I made my own PR
205 x 10 on the reverse pec deck. PR baby
What the heck you do?
Epic PR bro!
I’m a lineman. Build and maintain power lines.
Epic PR is right. Thought about going for a 1rm but decided that would be a horrible idea ![]()
Ah totally thought someone at the gym had called you out and you got kicked out of the gym for causing trouble (inside of 15 mins!)
1rm pec dec, surely you can beat the stack by now!
Reverse pec dec pro. Them rear delts be juizy ![]()
Get those PRs anyway you can man.
I’ll never disregard stronger and healthier shoulders ![]()
I’ve always kept the weight light for the reverse pec deck. Wonder if there’s any merit to going heavy? I know other stuff starts taking over but surly the rear delts are still getting some action?
Must be the medial delts getting stronger ![]()
You’re looking good man, definite improvement since last fall.
Take a little pride in your work, think positive, and Keep Going.
Regarding the reverse pec deck; if you’ve been keeping it light and steady with high reps, don’t be afraid to aggressively push the weights for as a change. If you’ve been doing higher reps (like 15+) and you transition to moderate reps (8-10) and you might even get Better rear delt action for awhile.
Then after 3-6 weeks of pushing, when too many other muscles take over and you can’t feel your rear delts anymore go back to higher reps and stricter execution for awhile. Only now you’ll be stronger so you’ll use more weight than before.
Thanks for the compliments!
Yea I normally stay around 100-120lbs and the reps higher than 20 for sure. It did feel good to push the weight, and I like your theory so I’ll try it!
@alex_uk got off work and went back to the gym. Just finished tits and shoulder
Started on the reverse pec dec and got 220 x 20, then decided to try the whole stack (295lbs) and got 5
2 new PR’s in the same day on the same lift. Gonna have dem extra juizy rear deltoids brah
Yea agreed, I had to scroll back and find it but yea changes are visible!
Haha legend!
Made me scroll back up and look too. Looks like I took that picture back at the end of October, in the same spot, same crappy lighting, and same shorts lol. It’s a shame the pose is a little different.
I appreciate you bringing that picture up! Maybe I have made some progress. Sometimes it’s hard to see it your self. Granted, it’s nothing earth shattering, but it’s progress nonetheless!
The recomp is impressive!
Well let’s hope this is new and not back to where I left off
gonna get another dexa scan in a week or so, so that’ll shed some light.
