Almost didn’t go because I wasn’t feeling it! Wish it went this well every time I wasn’t feeling it :joy:

Moved my working weight up on every main exercise

Pull downs up to 175
Cable rows up to 175
Chest supported rows pronated to 125lbs per side
Neutral rows to like 115 I think

Really proud of those rows. Everybody I’ve talked to has said that machine is the hardest (heaviest) row machine they’ve ever used. I haven’t seen anyone use the same weight on it so that makes me feel good. Obviously I know probably most of the people who use it could sling my weight easily, but I haven’t SEEN it :joy::joy:

I had An absolute insane amount of sodium today, wondering if that fat boy bloat is hooking me up!

That looks like a place from which you can get shredded in a few months though! That face blacking out is something else lol

If you hammer your arms for a few months, they’ll come up like everything else. I’m definitely worried about how small my arms are going to be when I’m less fat

Thanks man. I’m a good ways away from wanting to get lean enough to be considered shredded. I’m hoping to pack on enough mass to not feel self conscious this summer without my shirt on. That’s my main goal right now.

Bro you definitely look bigger and badder than this time last year. Quads/calves/Lats and traps immediately stood out to me from when you first joined Tnation. Keep it up man you’re kicking ass, it’s a long grind

Thanks man! That’s probably the best compliment you could ever get!!! My lats and back have exploded compared to last year. If I could figure out how to flex my lats without using something external like weight I could really show you :joy:. I’ve finally developed a good mind muscle connection with a lot of things back wise, but only while working them. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it would just be nice to be able to flex them :joy:.

Bros. Today was a good day!!

Basically first day of work in December that I’ve been there. Show up at 6:30 to find out I’m the ONLY one at work. Laid low and had a slow, but easy day.

Rushed straight to the gym after getting off and did a COMPLETE shoulder, chest, and bicep workout in 30, yes THIRTY minutes! The pump was so unreal. It felt like I had gained 30 pounds of mass.

Rushed from the gym to the barber, probably more like salon but what evs… got my hair and beard did up real nice. Had to cancel my last appointment so it had been a minute.

Lookin extra fresh I showed up to a house that smelled of freshly made whipped garlic potatoes with fresh parmasan (idk how to spell it) cheese and butter. I cooked the steaks while she finished the southwest salad.

Dinner:
16oz ribeye
Giant pile of taters
Macaroni and cheese cup, because kid
Southwest salad
Cherry Coke Zero

Fucking yes. If everyday was like this I would not complain!!!

Edit: and to make it even better, my barber said I was looking a lot bigger, and after dinner ole girl said my abs were showing more (I eat shirtless sometimes to remind myself not to over do it :joy:). Fucking win

Great back and tricep day

Moved the working weight to 190lbs on lat pull downs

Seated cable rows to 190lbs as well.

And what I’m most proud of is I managed a set of like 7-9 reps, albeit a little cheaty…still 7-9 reps with 3 THREEEEE plates per side with the seated chest supported row machine. Looked at the sticker and empty it’s 25lbs per side so that’s kinda not really but maybe a 325lb row. Woot woot. But not really. But still, shits heavy. The machine isn’t even built to store 6 45’s. Max it holds is 4. Even the damn manufacture says I’m a fucking bad ass.

Ate like a fucking champ today as well. Life is good.

Came down to good ole auburn with my GF to spend a couple days with her family for Christmas. No workout yesterday or tomorrow but I bought a day pass today and killed it in the gym!

Spent about 3 hours in the gym, did shoulders tits and biceps first. Then legs, then back. Didn’t do any tricep specific work, which I regret now but I felt like I was about to throw up from all that exercise so I left :joy:.

Ate lamb chop/rib thingies for the first time last night. Cooked absolutely perfect. Takes like filet! Ate like 10 bones or how ever you’d describe it :joy:. Also accidentally ate some s’mores :man_shrugging: Tonight is potatoes, big filet mignons and wine!

Be back at it day after tomorrow!

Decent back and tricep workout today. The gym was a little wild today, kinda empty. The only people there were some of the strangest members. Very entertaining to watch, little bit of everything going on. Also plenty of people doing some extremely wild and weird stuff, yet somehow looked great. Sometimes life isn’t fair :joy:

So so shoulder chest and bicep workout.
Felt weaker on OHP than normal.
Felt stronger on seated chest press

My calf’s/calves are still super sore, which is a good sign I guess. Been trying to make those buggers grow.

Gym was extra full of big dudes today. Sad day to be in there :joy:

Woke up every hour last night. Rough night.

Had a mediocre back and tri day. Got 90% of the tricep work done but quit early because my left shoulder was acting up. Think I went too heavy on the push downs.
Also had legs planned for today and skipped them. Think I’ll make tomorrow a leg only day.

About to go eat a metric ton of white rice, raw tuna, shrimp, and chicken. Gainzzz

Back and tricep exercise. Killed back. Idk about triceps. Probably just wasted time pretending to work them out.

Did some ass and abs work too, which sucked as my hammy’s are sore from yesterday.

Drug my feet all day and finally decided to get to the gym only to find out they were about to close. In a panic I started a back workout only to realize it was shoulder and chest :joy:. Managed to do dumbbell seated OHP and hammer uni chest press before being kicked out. Finished the rest at home.

Went to girl friends friends house for New Years. Cooked the best pizza I’ve ever ate in my life, garlic dough from Trader Joe’s, white garlic Alfredo sauce, carmelized onions, mozzarella and filet minion sliced thin then drizzled with balsamic vinegerwtte. It was amazing.
Finished the night with some drama and a low key argument lol

Hung over and tired I had an amazing back and tricep workout.

Rep/weight PR on chest supported rows and cable rows.

Found a new tricep movement using a chest press machine single armed as well, so that was nice.

Had a buddy come over and return a kayak he borrowed yesterday and I had just woken up and was shirtless, he said I looked fucking huge! He doesn’t lift, so it’s only a half compliment but made me feel good.

Also woke up this morning with the most vascularity I’ve ever seen in my legs. My quads were covered and I even had raised veins on my fucking knee! My knee!! That alcohol and carb load did me right :joy:

Had the worst sleep of my life last night, and I’ve slept with snakes in a tent on a tiny cot and a few nights in the front seat of a van, So that’s saying something.

I kept stopping breathing before I’d actually fall asleep. Right as I’d start to drift off I’d start choking. I think it’s time to see a sleep doctor :sob:. Probably slept for 20 minutes. I’ve been 50lbs heavier without these issues. I think my neck is growing maybe :tipping_hand_man:

So taking today off. Woke up and ate a big steak and oatmeal for breakfast. The rest of today’s food will all be fun and enjoyable, only gonna get enough protein in and say fuck the rest of it.

Also saw a smudge of arm growth. I swear on my not dead mother of this is all glycogen and water and not real stuff, I’ll need a mental hospital come March.

Back when the hurricane tore up Louisiana and Texas, I guess in October maybe? I went down for a few weeks to work. Slept in many places and one of them was a giant white tent that looked like a Harry Potter quittage match. Had curtains making “rooms” that had 2 cots. A buddy I work with woke me up at 2am to let me know he just saw a snake crawl into my tent area. We looked and found two small snakes coiled up around my cell phone right below my head. He asked what I was gonna do and I said I guess try and sleep with my arms under me so they don’t fall off :joy:.

It was 2am in a tent with 400 grown men. I couldn’t react how I wanted too, so decided my only option was to either wrangle the snakes, or sleep with them. I chose sleep. The next night I slept in the front seat of a van, where there were no snakes.

Horrible trip, but made good money and helped a lot of people out.
