It looks fine. I wouldn’t change anything as it’s obviously working.
Allright,
Warmup
90kg 4x5 pin squat (pin height right above paralel. )

Wide grip deadlifts 2x8 75kg
Sumo deadlifts 2x8 85kg (video)

This sumo thing is different then conventional, But now my hip mobility has improved a ton, and i’ve gotten them stronger it’s worth giving it a shot. ![]()

opinions on the sumo’s are greatly appreciated.
They don’t look too bad for a start but to me it looks like you’re still mostly pulling the bar off the floor rather than levering it up. Honestly, though, I’m not the best guy for sumo. The dude who can probably weigh in the best is @Vincepac1500 because his sumo is sexy AF.
I always hoped for my Deadlifts to be described that way.
As for the lift, like Markko said it doesn’t look bad but a few small changes make huge differences. Id like to see a slower transition into pulling as you drop the hips building tension in the bar as your hips come down. Looks like you have a long torso so that will force you to be more bent over at the beginning of the pull. Looks like your initiating the pull with your back. Hitting paused Deadlift will help you with that. Break the weight off the floor concentrating on keeping the back tight and moving the weight with your legs and hips.
Thanks, ill use this when i pull sumo next time.
And your deadlift is indeed sexy AF.
tuesdays training is boring as hell, Wanted to get back home and work on my illustrator project to.
(taking a break from the project atm, to type this.)
Still got it done nonetheless.
Not much to it, everything felt easy. It’s a boring day with stuff i don’t like to do, but thats probably good.
A well, Tomorrow gonna be more fun!
Finished my illustrator project, I’m no illustrator god, but i’m pretty happy with this. idd say it took me 2 ish hours to make. It’s not freedrawn, (i’m not that talented. )
For anyone intrested, this is roughly what the individual lines and stuff look like haha.
I did 120kg for the 4th set of squats.
Upped the bench to 70kg, instead of 65kg (still really easy, i found the right form for bench for my body i think.)
Good workout.
0/10 shorts could be higher lol
Aw shit. Ill take 'em of next time.
Did 5 chin ups in-between every set till the end of the floor press. Damn, that tired me out. Was sweaty as hell!
Further, good workout.
ill try and get the video’s up.
Workout was good, belt was feeling a bit painful during deadlifts tho.
Coach placed first at a pretty big meet in the netherlands! pretty good performance i think, couldnt watch it all due to terrible livestream
Double paused benched, is hell! kinda fun tho.
I did just the “compounds today” due to wanting to be at home in time for my first driving lesson!
Pretty fun experience, i think i did ok!
training is good, i feel very strong
O, thought i did log my workouts. Guess i didn’t.
Anyways:
friday was somewhat shitty, and somewhat good.
Squats, first working set i noticed it was gonna be heavy, after the first 2 sets i msg’d my coach that i was sure i needed a deload of some sorts since my quads where just toast. (Same goes for wensday/tuesday) 3rd set for the first rep i went down, and didn’t come up. I think i could have gone up, but i didn’t wanna grind to death. Was supposed to do 3x5 at 137,5kg
Bench was good, it moved great.
Deadlifts: Normally, my deads feel like shit. Today i kinda changed my stance width and they just flew the fuck up.
Ended up pulling a PR of 170kg. Shit happens. (20kg+ pr!) I’m really excited to see my strength going up so much. Excited for the last couple months of training of 2017 .
Today:
Some bench
and some pre-hab stretching type stuff.
Bonus point if you hit a Edelhert.
Congrats on Dead PR
