Walking Away From a Fight

Gotta go with Theodore Roosevelt on this. Always try to diffuse (assuming you didnt instigate) and if the guy keeps pushing and leaves you no choice but to defend yourself, well hell go ahead and enjoy guilt free.

Guilt sucks but then again so does a broken hand, so I tend to go with the head which usually works in one (and its less of a telegraphed movement), if he stays stood then slam him to the deck. If he tries to get up for another go jus knock him back down he’ll soon get tired of that shit.

Oh yeah and, IMO, if he bleeds on your clothes that warrants a kick in the teeth.

Btw this guy has surely gotta feel way worse about the whole thing.

Start boxing. Or MMA. Or something.

It will give you a different perspective into how much fighting matters.
Which is to say, diddly squat.

There’s too much macho bullshit tied up in confrontations…

Been through it. Don’t care enough to be bothered anymore. Fights just make you end up in court. Court sucks.

The only time I can be moved to act anymore is against a real threat, i.e. a guy put his hands on me, or in a situation where I could conceivably be the victim of a crime.

QFT

its better taking the high road.

The satisfaction of smashing someones face in isnt worth the time spent in court or jail, or away from work.

Just arguing is one thing but, if he were to attack you, by all means, respond with extreme prejustice.

notice how d00d only attacked the people that rushed him?

I never understood this thinking. You experience something that bothers you, and then it bothers you for the rest of your life off and on? Really?

Rest of my life? No idea. Ask me again in 30 years. There are a few instances that still bother me when, for whatever reason, they pop into my head. This tends to fade with time, but it’s still there every once in a while.
