Wait, You Need To Work Hard ?

Speak of ministry of the bleedin’ obvious.

Huh? I’m confused. I thought you just had to go to the gym and sit on a machine for 30 minutes to be healthy and achieve your goals

don’t worry. you’re not alone. I see hundreds of people just like you at my gym.
20 minutes of vigorous exercise, like jogging, three days a week
Really?

I didn’t know 20 minutes of jogging are vigorous. I thought 20 minutes of EDT are vigorous, but now I know the truth.

Lol.

Fuck so that’s what I’ve been doing wrong…

Do you think it would be vigorous enough if I placed the entire exercise machine on my skull next time? 30 minutes of that would definitely be good energy systems work, at least.

Twenty minutes of exercise? What the fuck? That feller on the TV said I was going to get my abs in eight minutes.

“The authors include several experts who are on a high-level committee in the US which next year will announce America’s new physical activity guidelines.”

Oh boy, I can’t wait to see those guidelines.

DB

I can see them now:

-Must be able to down a big mac without breaking a sweat (I know, I know that’s a tough one).
-Must have an overly kyphotic posture. It’s a symbol of working hard in your cubicle, right?
-Must be able to reach the top of the pushup position without using your arms to raise your body (if you can do this with your arms, then you must be on steroids).
etc., etc., etc.
