Hello, I am currently bulking and trying to put on some muscle. I eat as clean as possible with the occasional cheat meal once or twice a week. I currently do cardio once or twice a week, normally HIIT.
So far, its worked well, all my measurements from 1 year ago have gone up a few inches and I gained a good 20 pounds. Only little problem is my waist size has gone from 31.5" to 35" in 1 year.
Should I be alarmed by this? Will it be easy to lose when I decide to cut and return to a 31.5 waist size?
Is there a point at which you have to stop bulking and return to a normal waist size? and then bulk again?
thanks

whenever you are ready to cut, then cut. when you can’t stand to look at yourself in the mirror cuz of the gut, then cut. But i read somewhere that test levels decline when your body fat goes into low single digits and above twenty percent. i believe it was on this site…
If all your measurements have gone up a few inches (presumably from muscle growth) why wouldn’t your waist size go up for the same reason? I assume your abs, obliques and spinal erectors are growing as well as the rest of your muscles.
A good rule of thumb is to keep your waist around 1/2 your height for optimal health.
