Vroom Finally Comes Clean

Hmm, when I lived in Texas, I’ll have to admit to liking steak and beer. I’ll be damned if I didn’t fall in with a great crowd too.

I miss it. I might have to go back!

Really.

While I was there my girlfriend and I saw the San Antonia River Walk, we toured NASA, I went to a couple ball games and even went and cheered on the Stars and they won the cup that year too.

All in all, my time there was great. Hell, all the time I spent in the US was great!

I wonder how hard it is to immigrate?

Not very. Ask any of the other shiftless types that stream across the borders every day.
More’s the pity.
Jesus Christ way to sound like a racist ass. Remember there boy, your parents were immigrants to once, and the folks here probably said it about them. Having Eire’s blood in me, I hate to talk badly about people who come here. The signs, “No dogs or Irish allowed” were not that far back in history. By far one of the most ignorant statements ever made on this site. Way to go Weider.

Read this quote by vroom… Both an actual statement of opinion AND it says something nice about Americans? I better go pop back onto the “Only One Truth” thread and let them know that the End is near.

LMFAO!

I did say something nice about Bush once, in writing. Hopefully it is buried deep in the forum archives and permanently hidden out of sight…

Shhh.
It took quite a lot of digging but I found something that vroom said about President Bush that is… well very flattering:

Vroom stated: “I like President Bush I think he is one of the greatest American Presidents in the past 50 years! I also think he a very bright guy who can think quickly on his feet.”

You actually had it right once upon a time. What in the world ever changed your mind vroom? LOL

Do you not read about the illegal immigration problem in the southwest? That’s what RJ, ST and myself were talking about.
How does that make me a “racist ass”?
I won’t tolerate that.

RJ, Well I guess I’d have to answer your question with another question…How many Abodiginals do you see modeling?

V

Vroom, this ones for you, because, well shouldn’t we be allowed to have gasoline fights?

If there’s anything that this horrible tragedy can teach us, it’s that a male model’s life is a precious, precious commodity. Just because we have chiselled abs and stunning features, it doesn’t mean that we, too, can’t not die in a freak gasoline fight accident.

I’ll one up the fainting vroom. I just pulled an ab muscle laughing.

they are the words of a racist. My mother is italian, and I still hear the old asshole saying of “WOP” once in a while. First of all, of all people, the Mexicans are the least shiftless of all. They do the jobs that neither you nor I would want to do, and they do them well. Where i am in New jersey, mexicans do all landscaping, paving, gardening jobs, etc. and are known for how hard they work…hence the phrase “Work like a Mexican”. Thats a compliment.

Second of all, if your family was rotting under a currupt government in Mexico, you would be here in a second to keep them fed, no questions asked. Or maybe you wouldnt, I dont really care. But I would. So to categorize all of them as shiftless, and to dehumanize them in the way that one genious statement did, means that those are the words of a racist ass. TOLERATE IT.

Give it a rest man. No one was being racist. In fact there are more racist assumptions in your post than anywhere else in this thread.

If you want to go piss and moan about how horribly you were treated because of your race - start your own damn thread.

But quit be a goddamned crybaby in here. It just makes you look like an ass bent on a fight.

Maybe I can paraphrase that a little bit more realistically:

I like President bush. I think he is one of the greatest American Presidents in the past 5 years! I also think he’s a very bright guy when in the spotlight.

C’mon, it’s close…

That stinks, vroom. Like a dirty poopie diaper stinks.

Excellent comeback!

Now let’s split the difference:

“I like President Bush. I think he is the best President over the past 13 years. And while I don’t think he is the brightest person who ever lived, he was bright enough to beat a sitting Vice President and a certain intellectual from Mass.”

Well?

Okay Zeb, we will split the difference, but the split will run with some modifications. See below.

Excellent comeback!

Now let’s split the difference:

“I like President Bush. I think he is the best President over the past 3 years. And while I think he is far (very far) from the brightest person who ever lived, Carl Rove was bright enough to orchestrate him beating a Vice President and a certain intellectual from Mass.”

Well?
There that’s better.

I think I might not denigrate the intelligence of GWB while I’m misspelling Karl Rove’s name…

I thought we were friends… hey, you said twenty posts ago you weren’t going to hurt me like that. This world is so cruel. I hate you JW you big meanie. Mods tell him to stop or I am taking my toys and going home. (JK)

And Joe, thanks for pointing that out because I wondered what the correct spelling of 'ol rove’s name was.

I’m sorry Elk.
My tongue was firmly in my cheek the whole time.
You know I love you (not in the same way I love RainJack…but…j/k).

The accusation of being a “meanie” was brought up in a conversation between two adults. I think you may be on to something here.

Instead of changing senate rules re:filibusters, they need to change senate rules re:poisonous rhetoric. The senators should now be forced to only use epithets gleaned from pre-second grade level books. i.e. “President Bush is not nice. He is a meanie. He wanted us to go into the desert but his pants were on fire.”
