I looked up Vitex agnus-castus. I can’t believe no one thought of this sooner. I can’t wait until the new product comes out, as I am sure it will be to vitex as Tribex is to tribulus. Until then, how much should I take to get the effect necessary?
I’m interested in an answer to this as well. From what I read the recommendation is 40 mg. daily, but this is for a women experiencing PMT.
Also, what about the reported progesterone increase in women? Is this a concern for men? Sounds like it could be an interesting product, what with its effect on the pituitary to increase production of LH and its anti-e properties.
No one mentioned it sooner? Do a search on chaste berry. I mentioned it as a natural alternative to clomid on the forum 3 months ago. I’ve been using it for the past 2 months and have been pleased with the results.
Buster, I found you posts back from 4/13. How much of the chaste berry are you taking a day? How are you dividing the doses? What about results, can you specify a bit? I’m thinking of ordering the bulk powder from beyond-a-century.
Bosco, I’m currently using the bulk powder from BAC. I take 500mg with breakfast and another 500mg about an hour before bed. My T-levels were low when I had them checked earlier this year, so I got my doctor to prescribe Androgel. However, the Androgel didn’t raise my T-level as high as I wanted (from about 280 to 450) and did cause my estrogen level to go up too high (from mid 30 to 52). After reading about chaste berry I decided to give it a try and based on my latest blood test results, which showed my T-level up to almost 500 and my E-level down to the low 40’s, it seems to have helped.
Thanks for the info.
