Does anyone know where there is a full contact boxing gym or power lifting gym in VA Washington DC area? I have been looking everywhere for a place to spar full contact here and I cannot find it. Anyone know of a place to train for NHB besides picking fights in the street. Haa haa.
Doesn’t Olympia boxing in Falls Church still exist? I was there back in 92. Jim Ed Jones is the owner/trainer and at the time his best student was Willie “the heat” Taylor. Also there is a gym in NE DC called Finely’s Gym on 10th st.
Look at the USA Powerlifting site, find out who the state chairman is, and contact him, Ill bet he knows some good powerlifting gyms in the area. Do the same for boxing, AAU maybe?
