2/17/20 - bw 225. So I decided to give axle clean and press a try, since it’ll be an option instead of the log for max reps in 60 seconds with 245lbs. Goal was to see if I was faster with the same weight in 60 seconds. I…i was. By a long shot. I will be working on it solely with some log technique practice after to keep it on the back burner. 3/5/20 - Bit of an update. Good news and bad news. Good news is, I PR’d on yoke Took 665 for 50 feet in 6.2 seconds. 2 second shave off my last time. The bad news, I partially tore my hamstring on the way back.
Not sure what this means for my contest, but time will tell.
At least it was doing a PR and not carrying groceries in and slipping or something stupid. Wishing you a speedy recovery bud!
Thanks. Fastest that weight has ever felt, or moved for me. This is the strongest I’ve been, so regardless, I cannot be too upset over a minor injury such as this. Timing is horrible, however. ![]()
