Amazing session. This has to be close to your all time best, no?
Thanks friend. I’ve never clean and pressed over 300 on the log, but I have taken 340 out of the rack when I weighed 240.
I’m due for a PR atm on the clean and press. Could probably hit 320, maybe a little more with some more time under 300ish weights.

12/1/19 - Impromptu took the Thanksgiving week off. Very strange for me. I don’t remember the last time I did that, but it felt kinda nice. I came back this week refreshed (not so much physically, surprisingly, mostly mentally).

Absolutely the most powerful I have been with log. Everything felt so fast and powerful. The cardio was BRUTAL though. Likely due to eating like ass all week and coming into a pretty intense sesh.
All I ended up doing. Excited for the rest of the months training.

still really sore from my single squat set the other day, so todays sesh was a bit rough.
How do you find these? I am doing regular snatch grip deadlifts atm and absolutely hate them. These sound even worse.
they suck ass. I like to think they’re going to make me deadlift 750lbs overnight though.
Calming thought. I am sure it’ll help you get through them, haha

Took me too long, but here’s mine. Mat is about 35’ long, gave myself 25-30’ per lap with the rounding/turning. Puts me about 250’ minimum. YouTube’s mobile uploader isn’t working currently, but I’ll put up a video when I can sort that out.
Nice man! I’ll be sure to post a fresh one soon myself.
12/20/19 - Conventional was feeling like crap so I opted for sumo. First time in a very long time. I have decided I’m gonna train sumo solely for a while and push it a bit.

405x20 all TnG,
absolutely ignited my posterior chain in ways conventional simply cannot. THIS is why my conventional got strong. Sumo deadlifts.
My logic is in that due to my lack of positional integrity in conventional deadlifts, I can’t really utilize my posterior chain. I can lift decent amounts of weight when peaked, but it’s very sloppy, and feels like I’m not using muscles to lift the weight, just my skeleton.
Last time I trained sumo, conventional went up. Lets do it.
