9/1/18 - bw 222 had a big ass cheat meal yesterday so…lil heavy. Body comp has changed a bit, more vascularity, less fat in general, which is great.

335x1 major press out, need to find base better and make sure i get under it
335x1 easy rep, almost no press out
335x1, bad, but muscled it out. Starting to “feel” the weight here. Something that I like to do for heavy weights on lifts that require a lot of explosion/techniquee and don’t have much deliberation of conscious effort is work with 90%+ weights for singles as to basically get some kind of substantial TuT. I hate going into heavy presses and having to gamble if I can get it, because the only preface to the lift is the unrack, and that can get scary, because 350lbs being walked out on a front squat for me isn’t exactly fun, so knowing i’m gonna launch it over head is quite an undertaking, so I like to be as in control as possible.

more singles…
335x1 super easy, wow. Only downside is I hurt my left pec minor somehow on the descent.
335x1 easiest so far, but having to shut it down due to pec.
I’m also bringing my left hand in on the unracking of the bar because for some reason, my left hand always pushes out like half inch once i walk out, and it gives me an unbalanced grip on the bar thus fucking up my press. It seemed to help make the press easier, since in the past I was failing press outs due to my right tricep seeming “weak” but only to realize my grip was being compromised without my knowledge.
