Awesome, I always wanted to do the wall run and flip.
I’ve always wanted to do a handstand.
How much do you want it?
Kick up, try to balance, come down. Repeat for two to three months, and - voila! - a handstand.

Holy Crap! I came like 9ft off a ladder and sprained both feet (not on purpose). How do these guys do that and not get wrecked?!
If you weighed 110# you wouldn’t get hurt either, I wonder how much he squats???
I’m sure light bodyweight helps, but I think that a lot of traceur’s ability to leap off all tall buildings in a single bound is progressive conditioning of ligaments, joints, and tendons. I’m much more impressed by the balls it takes to jump those kind of heights than by the ability to take the fall.
As for squatting strength; I imagine that a lot of those guys boast a huge squat:bodyweight ratio. Siff wrote regarding jump training that the maximum benefit was acheived by having athletes jump from the highest height from which they could be persuaded to jump. 30’ depth jumps year round, anyone?
I dig this site for these reasons. You often get to see the amazing things that people can do when they get off their ass and actually try at something. Whether it be someone benching 800lbs or some of the crazy athletic shit in those links, human beings can do amazing things when we put our mind to it.
It’s such a pity that 99% of us will never put our mind to anything, except eating Doritoes and watching TV.
i think this site wrote an article on how much we all love the gymnast build (and the crazy hard stuff they do). I know that when olympics roll around everyone always says “damn, i should have been a gymnast”

I don’t care and I bet neither does he. I’d give up some body weight to do what some of these guys can do.
Yeah, he wears chucks, he must be a powerlifter.
More incredible athletic skills, this time from the soccer world:
Watch for a guy with #5 on his white shirt. Huge quads!

Why does no one go apenuts over male gymnasts? They’re just as amazing I think. =/
They absolutely are just as amazing.
I don’t think anyone’s unimpressed with gymnasts (male or female). However, it’s not often you see them in street clothes doing that cool shit out in every day life and in every day places. I think that’s what makes these clips so cool. It is easy to feel emotionally disconnected from the abilities an Olympic gymnast displays in public once every four years - a lot harder to disconnect from the guy leaping around a mall like a monkey.
It’s just much more relatable.
The article here a few weeks ago about gymnast training was very cool and made the relative strength/flexibility/coordination of the gymnast feel much more attainable and not some lofty thing that takes daily training from the age of 4 in order to accomplish.
Chris, #5 is Roberto Carlos. He plays for Real Madrid and the Brazil national team. Crazy legs all around and he is a fast little fucker.
I can do all that stuff easily…
I just don’t want to right now.

'cuz I just got my hair done, and I’m healing a sprained ankle… Yeah, that’s the ticket.
VERY entertaining thread. All of these guys are sick athletes in their own right. Thanks for the links…
Shugart’s clip was like the AND1 of soccer, and the roots added that extra bit of flavor. This is one cool ass thread.
Awsome videos THANKS
yea i fully approve of this thread lol
Like some pointed out, this is a mix of Parkour and Tricks…purely amazing.
And look at his feet in the first shots (street shots), he’s wearing Converse!
PLing fav shoes have just another use.
I used to fancy myself a pretty good athlete. I just got schooled on reality. These guys are superhuman.
Here’s another:
This guy isn’t as good, just an urban climbin’ fool more than anything else.
