Not sure if anyone posted this one yet but these guys are insane. Half of me is like “damn kids these days” , and the other half is like “damn I wish I could do that, then I’d be the baddest ninja around”. I wonder what they pay in insurance premiums. Anyway it starts out kind of slow but then builds up. enjoy:

Kick ass! Search the web for “Joe Eigo” or check out www.multilevelmoves.com for more stuff like that.
pretty kick ass stuff. Just the gymnastic ability those guys have got is impressive, let alone the insanity of diving off buildings.
I’ve seen it before as well. Its awesome. I think I am too old to start, plus I am pretty sure they don’t have jobs. haha. Still, the skill is outstanding.
Intense, powerful…
Explosive yet with finesse…
Good post.
I think this troupe did a Nike commercial not long ago as well.
GAINER
We used to try stuff like that as kids. The only problem was that we had no skill or training.Man that used to hurt.Once I tried to jump from the roof of the local elementary school to the field next to it, but tripped on the lip of the roof.Went ragdoll flipping straight to the ground.
Gotta respect the agility and discipline it takes to develope skills like they demonstrate.
Wow.
Stuff is tight.
Looks like Jackie Chans school of stunts.
Talk about some fast witch muscle! Aside from that…balance and above all body AWARENESS! Pretty cool stuff.

So that explains why you are the way you are today?
What kind of shoes do those guys have to run on the side of a fuckin building like that? It would definitely suck if they slipped when they were trying that.
yea they did a nike commercial a while back.
its called le parkour
its really not THAT hard. Some of the acrobatics (back layouts etc) are but most of it is pretty easy.
I used to do this stuff all the time before I knew some dude in france had made it a ‘sport’.
It’s pretty badass they say it might become the “new” skateboarding.
Which would be pretty kickass personally.
I can still do most of this stuff except for the back layout (Back flip while keeping your body straight). I showed these video’s to a gymnastics coach and they dont’ like it cause their form is sloppy.
But hell…they get it done
i’m telling you guys, with about 3 basic skills, its really really easy.
learn to absorb your fall into a roll, learn to time your jumps, and a little agility, bam you got it.
Most Parkour’s don’t do a lot of acrobatic work anyway…the guy in the video (David Belle), his dad “invented” it so of course he’s bad ass.
You should see him and his partner (french black dude can’t remember his name but he’s even better than David Belle), doing handstands on the ledge of 18 story buildings, his partner does a handstand on one hand like that.
it’s scary cause what if a slight breeze comes…that’s ur ASS. haha!
You beat me to it Xen. Yeah, that shit is sick. I used to fuck around, always thinking to myself how badass doing what they do would be. Then I found out people actually can do that shit. I plan on testing it out on campus (obviously not jumping across a street down a few stories, but still).
That shit is crazy. A lot of the stunts remind me of the Prince of Persia video game. Hell, they should have that guy play the part from the Prince of Persia movie.
RK
It’s badass! Hope they’re takin’ joint supps!
Woah Xen, WTF are you talking about?!
I guess parkour/freerunning is “easy”, in the sense that benching 300 becomes “easy” when you have a 500lb 1RM. But how long does it take to get to that point?
Half of the problem is overcoming fear of the moves before attempting them… no, not easy at all.
I’m not sure if it’s so easy for you now that you don’t have a clue about teaching beginners, or if you’re just trying to make yourself look good. Hopefully another option?
I normally enjoy your input, but you’re very misleading this time.
