I’ve been playing some older PS2 games lately, like Shadow of the Colossus and Indigo Prophecy. IP is weird, but good nonetheless. SotC is a masterpiece. Anyone that has a PS2 and hasn’t played it yet should definitely check it out.
GTA IV comes out in a month. The multiplayer doesn’t sound too appealing, but it’s still GTA and well worth the money, so I preordered and prepaid for it.
I thought GTA4 was only on PS3?
It is PS3 and 360 only. I mentioned it in the same post because it’s nearing release. And yes, mine does play PS2 games but it is a launch console … not one of the new ones with partial BC.
Picked up Dark Sector last night…kinda sketchy at first but after you get infected and start learning new upgrades, it gets addicting. I’m a freakin’ surgeon with the gaive!
Already unlocked almost all the achievements for using it precisely, Aftertouch is the shit. It allows you to control the gaive after its thrown.
Applesauce, Shadow of the Colossus is a great game. The size of the bosses is amazing to run on PS2, makes me wonder if they could have made the PS2 live longer. Also the puzzles to figure out are addicting as well. Cool game.
Always wanted to give Indigo a spin, played the demo and the multiple pathways was an awesome idea.

I haven’t had a 360 in months but the last time I checked the Marketplace has it for D/L as an XBox Original title for around $12, which is about the same you’d pay for a used copy.
Big week for new releases…360/PS3 are getting Grand Theft Auto IV and the newest Mario Kart is available for Wii.
I’ll probably wait on getting GTA IV as I’ve got a few games I still need to play through.
Just picked up Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops for the PSP. Also went retro and purchased Tecmo Super Bowl for my NES (my sisters sold my original copy years ago when I moved out and left my NES games behind).
Currently playing:
Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (DS)
Tiger Woods 08 (360)
NBA 2K7 (360)
MLB 08: The Show (PSP)

I’m holding out until around the end of May. I want to get the PS3 and GTA IV at the same time.

I found myself playing San Andreas over just to satisfy my GTA taste until IV comes out. I need to get my 360 back…

What happened to yours? (And San Andreas is still fucking incredible, like three years later…)

I pre-ordered GTA4 will startplaying next week.
I am now re-playing Oblivion because I accidently deleted my game.
The GOTY version with the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles is pretty cool.
I have that too, except I was doing a Shivering Isles mission and the way I did it, I literally got stuck and it’s 100% impossible to get out of the ‘dungeon’ thing I’m in. I’m really pissed, cuz my character was SO amazing.
I hate stuff like that, and I can’t teleport out or anything like that.

That’s pretty sweet-looking. If you’re interested in that particular brand, then by all means, hold out until it’s released.
Ha, I couldn’t wait so I upgraded to the silver model. That Daxter game is surprisingly good for being cheesy, plus it was made by the same studio who made Chains of Olympus. I got Chains of Olympus too … great game as well. No “Kratos Vs. 30” sequences, but I kept having to remind myself that it was a handheld game.
