I have a friend that had the nerve to say that this guy shrunk down to Joe Blow status. But then again, this is the same friend who says Branch Warren and the wrestler Battista aren’t big and that Michael Phelps’ 36-hour-per-week training regimen is “not that much”.
The disrespect… the disrespect.
This guy still has a body most men would kill for and will never have!
He is still around 250lbs so I am not sure why people get off on acting like he is tiny. he simply isn’t “300lbs” anymore.
I think newbs and people who haven’t gained much feel satisfaction in acting like these guys deflate uncontrollably as if steroids alone are why they were that big.
The man accomplished what he set out to do and now just lifts for his own satisfaction.
I can guarantee none of the people talking shit look like that at around 250.
Bwah? I agree completely with X. While he isn’t holy-f*cking-omg-humongous like in his Mr. O days, you can just remove an adjective or two and it’d still describe him pretty well.
The only problem I have is with his shirt… it just doesn’t work for me. That red and yellow totally throw off the color balance! That could just be my jealousy of his superior calf genetics talking though.
I think everyone should take a look at dorians methods of training. He is one of the very few great pro’s who can actually articulate how he trained and why it works. I’ve been training according to dorians principles for the past few months and results have been great. Anyone doubting this man is just down right stupid.
Yeah, He’s definitely able to articulate what he does very well. I’ve seen several recent vids of him and his ‘leftover’ size still dwarfs most people you see in the gym day in and day out. I don’t know if he actually writes his own column at MD (or if it’s one of the many that Ron Harris pens), but if he does, it’s a hell of a resource to have on hand.

There are a couple training videos of him on MD. He goes into detail about back, legs, and I believe chest. After watching him and hearing what he had to say, I learned some new things.

Legs are still huge…he is looking big to me…has not shrunk at all. he might not be 300 lbs but he is still big.
