I’m going to tell you something that no one else here would reccommend.
I was in the same situation as you. Taking 100mgs per week split into two injections, yielding me a 977 Total T.
But at this dosage without an ai I was emotional, tired, blood pressure went up, and held water. So I began taking an ai. No matter what dosage I’d take it would end up bringing my estrogen too low. But I felt better with lower estrogen then high.
Still with low estrogen I wasn’t able to hold water like I should, joints weren’t strong, dry skin, erections weren’t consisten, and had some sleep issues. I could never dial in the ai.
So I did the unimaginable, I lowered my dosage to 60mgs per week and dropped the ai.
LOL NEWB BRO YOU ONLY HAS 600 TEST LEVEL NAOW DONT YOU KNOW YOU NEED TO BE AT TOP OF RANGE EVEN THO AVERAGE 20 YEAR OLD NOWADAYS IS ONLY AROUND 650~.
at that level I had a free test of 16(9-20). Not too shabby, as free test is what matters.
Anyways you get my point. I don’t have to deal with having too high estrogen today, too low after my ai and this rollercoaster since I’ve dropped my dosage. The reality is that most of us never had 1000 Total T’s even in our 20’s and that’s a fact. I’ve read so many blood work and talked to so many people and maybe 5% of them actually do.
Hell even look at the average level nowadays. a 900 Total T is in the 95% percentile, the lucky few. Anywho most of us shoot for too high a level, and then require an ai and are never able to completely dial ourselves in. Reality is, most shouldn’t need an ai on hrt if they are using the correct dosage for their individual phisiology.
My friend and I both had blood work before our first cycles. He was a lucky guy having a total t of 900, Kid had abs since birth and was shaving at 12. Me on the other hand was just average joe with a total t of 550. Funny thing was this kid ate junk and didn’t work out while I was a stickler for diet and exercise.
Anywho on hrt doses his estrogen stays low without and issue, but when I brought my Total t up to 900, a level which I didn’t have naturally (albeit maybe during actual puberty) I had estrogen issues. I’m only 23 btw anyways lol, still though I think you should try it.
I’d rather have a lower level and feel good consistently. Don’t worry you can still blast a few times a year if you really want to add some muscle.
